Great Christmas gift to bond with grandkids.

Son was thrilled with this build.I assumed because there was so many pieces and technic parts as well as digital components that it would take him longer to build. Unfortunately he was dedicated and did it in like 2-3 days. It was supposed to be. Father son build but son couldn’t wait.Size-huge as far as Lego or toys go. So make sure you have room.Price-super expensive. For that king of money I wish it took him longer. We had friends suggest cheaper brand with similar build. However, we are purists when it comes to Lego.Fun-I would say he played with it for the first couple weeks. Now it’s just display. We display a little of Lego in clear glass ikea cases. This is not one that you can do that with. So make sure you really like playing with or have room.

Was going to give this four starts because the first box was missing pieces. Luckily it was at the beginning of the build no more than 50 pieces in and was able to return with no issue so I'm giving it a five star. When the second order arrived, we found that the first box was missing a bag of at least 30+ pieces.My 9 year old built this without any issue. Lego bricks are easy to assemble. The crane is sturdy and he actually plays with it and uses the iPad as the remote. He's played with this more than the roller coaster set 10261 that he built 3 years ago, and that was a fun set to play with too.These large lego sets are pricey but he practices life skills when building this set, such as focus, patience and sense of achievement. Plus he's not watching you tube.

Wouldn't have gotten at usual cost but snagged on special price & don't regret I did.Provided bit of stress relief to build here & there over course of few weeks.Never did a Lego kit before so can't base build on anything comparable.Instructions were clear & fairly simple to follow - total time involved was more than I bargained for.Functions better than I expected & the wireless / app control is great.Has become essentially a static display in my office that gets batteried up and run on occasion, just to knock corrosion from my operator skills.

This thing is huge, and I love it. It was such a fun build and fiddle around with using the app control.

It took me 3-4 days to put this together, but for $600 I thought it would be more challenging. I don't know how to use the phone to control it so I have to wait until my grandsons come and they can play with it, but I certainly put it together correctly. There were zero missing parts, and actually some extra ones were included and I appreciated that even though I didn't need them. It went together nice and tight and I liked that. The hardest thing for my big hands were the strings and pulleys, threading them through to the spools but I got it done. All in all I enjoyed it.

This was another amazing model by Lego Technic. Challenging but not too difficult a build due to the great instructions in the manuals.... well worth the money, lots of New building pieces never seen before.

El instructivo, como siempre en los modelos LEGO es claro con muchos dibujos explicativos. Me encanta LEGO.
