My kitty is almost 6 years old and these Pom Pom balls have been his favorite toy since I got them. My coworker recommended the gun and balls to me, and since I’ve gotten them I have already ordered a replacement pack of balls because of how much he loves them. He’s half Maine Coon and quite long because of it so kicky toys are hard to find for him but he looooves to kick these Pom Pom balls all day every day. I don’t even have to shoot them out of the gun anymore- as soon as he sees one in my hand, he’s hooked and will go wherever I throw it. My little guy loves to play fetch, and I wanted to find him something he could chase after and pick up that would hopefully wean him off his beloved pipe cleaners. He wasn't into these at first -- maybe either the texture of the ball in his mouth put him off, or maybe they had a smell from the factory that he didn't like? But he has grown to favor these balls over pretty much any of his other toys save his favorite mousey from kittenhood. They are impressively easy to throw a good distance despite being essentially giant pom-poms, they retain their shape quite well, and they are just the right size for him to grab and carry with him. He likes to bat these around and they all end up under the sofa fairly quickly. Both him and I are happy campers.

We adopted a kitten that brought with him a 2 inch soft play ball that he loves. As he got older, he started being able to carry it in his mouth. Throw the ball, he retrieves, carries it around in his mouth. But, it was just one ball and half the time I couldn't find it. By trial and error, I discovered that the toy balls for a kitten or cat should be about 2 inches if they are going to carry it in their mouth. Also, they have to be soft and somewhat sturdy - NOT hard - but with not too much fluffy. I am giving these to him two at a time and he loves them. They throw easily, don't roll too much, he fetches it in his mouth and likes to growl at me for trying to take it. Very entertaining to watch him play. The material is soft and slightly fluffy but I haven't had much problem with fluff coming off. I'd be worried if I started seeing pieces of the ball around the house or him trying to eat it, but so far the quality seems to be very good.

I thought this came with the gun, so I was a little disappointed, but honestly they are easy enough to just throw. My cat loves them. they are pretty, durable, and great value. I would highly recommend.

My one cat is obsessed. My other one doesn’t like them. So it just depends on their personality but for the one that likes them, it’s literally her favorite toys. She plays with them everyday and brings them to us for fetch. They do collect dirt and hair but they are cheap enough that I’ll just replace them when they get to dirty.

I’m not sure who had more fun…my pets or me! I originally bought this for my kitten, Margot, but while she was napping under the bed, I tried it out with my Golden Retriever, Aspen. She had so much fun trying to get the fuzzy little balls. She carried them gently back to me, and dropped the to fetch again. Once Margot saw her playing, she wanted in on the fun, too. She was precious batting them around and carrying them in her mouth like prey. Great product for giggles!

It's very cute..and the gun works great..icould even shoot the mice out of the gun...balls are perfect. However my cats are deathly afraid of the gun sound! Its not that loud but cats are more sensitive to noise obviously...everytime something makes a loud noise they run under the bed! Lol I have fraidy cats. They do not like it.

My cat loves them and chases them all over the place, indoors and out. She seems to enjoy posting them all under the cooker which I then have to remove every week or so when I see there are no more around. They don't disintegrate (which is why I bought them) and are comfortable and a good size for her mouth. They're large enough not to get sucked up in the hoover.
