very nice shave, classic feel

Nothing comes close to a double edge razor or cut-throat but this is useful for travel and better for the environment than cheap multipacks of throwaway razors that cut your face to ribbons. It’s basic, inexpensive, not very pleasing to use, but if you can manage your expectations then it’s perfectly serviceable.

Right handle to fit my contour plus blades

This is a great little razor ideal for the nooks and crannies under your jawline. Just wish it were easier to get spare authentic blades for it.

The mechanism of the handle was faulty from the offset. I pressed the button to release the blade cartridge, to test it worked. Having released the blade, the jaws of the mechanism locked inwards, no matter how hard I press the button. So I can't attach the cartridge to the handle, rendering it useless. And I haven't even used it. And I can't return it for a refund as it is exempt. Utter rubbish.

After 45 years loyal service my Contour succumbed and I knew it would be difficult to replace the metal constructed workhorse. I prefer two bladed razors and the choice is limited, so decided to try this. Although it doesn’t have the solid build feel of its predecessor and the blade connection is fiddly, it shaves. Only time will show its endurance, but as it’s Gillette I’m hopeful.

I bought the Gillette Wet razor to replace a Gillette metal razor I have used for over 50 years. This razor is lighter and feels very good. The 2nd reason was I prefer just 2 blades rather than the multi blades sold these days, I find 2 blades last longer too.

Saved me having to buy anew Razor with matching blades.

Für den Preis bekommt man hier ein hochwertiges Produkt, das seinen Job hervorragend macht. Für jeden, der einen zuverlässigen Rasierer sucht, ist der Gillette Vector Razor eine klare Empfehlung!

軽めのこのホルダーのハンドルは旧タイプのシックウルトラホルダーと同様に直線状です、旧タイプが硬質プラスチックに刻みがありましたが、これはゴム質のフィンが着いていて滑りにくいです。カートリッジ装着のボタンは個体差があるでしょうがややかためでした。付属の替刃カートリッジは以前のジレットアクタスプラスと比べると1プッシュクリーニング機構が着いていますが切れ味は微妙に劣るのは残念、それでも現行のシックウルトラと同程度。替刃は現行のシックウルトラ、シックスーパー２のものが使えます。
