Works Great for Home Use
This scanner works really well and was easy to set up and use. It’s compact, convenient, and perfect for home scanning needs. The scans come through clearly, and it handles documents quickly without taking up much space. Great little scanner for the price.

Inadequate for receipt scanning, limited to HP's software.
I purchased this specifically for scanning receipts. Unfortunately, this scanner does not work at all with long receipts. It constantly returns a "jammed" error and makes you start over. It doesn't even output the partial scan. This also doesn't have any way to adjust its feed, and so if pages are not perfectly square, they drift sideways, even crinkling the edges. The output on these is awful and impossible to fix with HP's proprietary scanning software, which is the only way this thing works. There is a scan button on the unit itself, but I could not get it to do anything. The only way it actually scans is by pressing the scan button in the software once connected.

Great compact scanner that scans all of our documents.
My company uses this scanner in every office. It's easy to install and its compatible with my programs. The scanner plugs into my computer, so, there's my extra battery. The scanner is compact in size. The quality is perfect. My company highly recommends this scanner.
