Great phone, reminds me of something from the 30`s. Love the colour, easy to use.

Awful quality one broke in less than 6 months (refund provided). Other external screen stopped working. Call quality is terrible, lots of interference and difficult to hear on both ends of the call. Overpriced compared to other models. Save your money

My elderly father was very attached to his old Nokia flip phone, and over the years a few attempted trials of newer phones (keeping simplicity as much as possible) always ended in rejection and return to the old reliable. Many strips of tape later to hold the battery cover on.... the day arrived when even getting a reliable signal became difficult (usually involving standing in one magical 9 sq ft zone of floor next to the window). This Nokia 2660 flip is as close as possible to that old model and, with a few bespoke modifications, is proving to be a good upgrade for similarity. The SOS feature and volume controls on the side of the phone were the biggest nuisance. In fairness, the volume and camera buttons were also on the side of the old Nokia but they weren't as touch sensitive as these. Impossible for an elderly man to avoid hitting them, nearly all of the time i would end up pushing them too even though i tried not to. These buttons i have "disabled" by gently applying superglue around the seams of the buttons. It won't make them resistant to a hard push but for general handling/holding during a call they are no longer touch sensitive. Volume adjustment can be done if needed occasionally within the settings. SOS feature is not something he needs on a phone either. Apart from the fact asking your parents to always carry a phone on their person in the home is unlikely to actually happen, anyone at a certain stage of life who does need a means of calling for assistance will likely have their own pendant or wrist alarm, as he does. Lastly, as he got used to using the call/end call buttons which were helpfully coloured on the old Nokia but not on this one, on this new Nokia i painted these buttons green and red so they stand out. The old flip phone was great for him with the button to flip the top up which would answer a call. That is missing here but at least closing the top will still end the call. Overall, He is happy with it.

Needed a simple 4G mobile for a friend. Looked at a few, but either not 4G or to complicated, did not require all the apps. Came across this Nokia model tried it out myself very impressed. Clam shaped phone so screen is protected when not used. As Clam shaped small and easy to store. Easy to read screen, big buttons, just open it up to answer the call. Easy to hold operate. To charge has the Miro-UBS socket, minus point, should be the universal C socket. As an extra from Nokia a mains charger is availble, to store the phone in. Like a landline phone so it charges at the same time. Battery comes separate from the phone in the box to fit in the phone. Easy to do. Battery lasts a long time. You can buy extra ones from Nokia for about £16.00. Some one complained the camera was no good. For the price and market it's for your not going to have a quality camera. Another review mentioned the rocker switch on the camera case too easy to press by mistake. I agree. Sort that out and a C socket for charging and you have a good cheap mobile.

None of the modern dumb phones I have tried have lived up to the easy to hear, easy to use, easy to see Nokias of 20 years ago but this one is certainly better than average. It is comfortable to hold, has reasonable sized keys, decent sound and the screen is easier to see than many of it's rivals. This phone is very similar to the newer HMD 2660. However in most respects it is just as good as the newer phone and indeed is slightly lighter (125g v 143g). I like the phone but the reason why I only give it 3* is that O2 have not enabled it for 4G on their PAYG network. It is a 4G capable phone but each network has to enable 4G calling. No problem with Three, Vodafone or EE but if you use O2 PAYG then expect the call to drop to 2G. I imagine this is an error rather than intentional since O2 sell the phone in their shops. Regrettably the same shortcoming also applies to the newer HMD2660 Flip. HMD/Nokia are aware of the issue - they say this model of phone has not been correctly 'provisioned' by O2 but seemingly there is nothing they can do about it other than encourage me to persevere with my complaint. O2 have been notified but do not seem to care. (Tested with three phones, multiple SIMs and at several locations).

This phone is worth having

The item seems used/second-hand, as there are already browsing history and bookmarks to Chinese websites. When charging the device, my child and I heard a popping sound, then the room lights went out, and the circuit breaker tripped. My child noticed that there was also a strong gas-like smell coming from the charger after the incident. For safety reasons, I believe the item is faulty and unsafe to use. I am returning it for this reason.

I'm very happy with this little phone so far. For a long while I've been looking for a way back to a somewhat simpler time regarding the tech I carry around with me on a daily basis. While this is not a 'dumb phone', it's also not a smart phone in the way we have all become familiar with. Personally, I won't be using this phone to make blockbuster movies with or to take art gallery worthy photographs. I simply wanted a reason to stop doom scrolling on social media so often, and help make myself less easily tracked or contacted by forces I'm not acquainted with. Now, when this arrived from the seller, it arrived with some glue from the packaging on the screen, which I had to carefully wipe off with some isopropyl alcohol - and it worked like a charm, but that may be something you have to prepare for, as there was no protective film. From the pictures I have provided, you may be able to see that I have installed a self-adhesive tempered glass outer screen cover to protect from scratches (which are available here on amazon for this model). I'm really happy with the colour and style - hence my purchase, and I'm happy with the size of the keypad... because I'm getting old now 😅 and I'm very happy with the size of the phone when unfolded as I have quite a large head, so this makes making and taking calls very comfortable. Also, I'm quite impressed with the speaker on this phone - more powerful than I was anticipating.

Excellent téléphone mobile, de bonne qualité et facile à utiliser (Configuration, ajout de contacts, etc.).) L'autonomie s'est révélée satisfaisante, car après cinq jours, il restait de la charge. Les touches du clavier sont grandes et l'écran d'affichage l'est également, les textes du menu sont présentés en grande taille. Parfait pour ceux qui souffrent de problèmes de vision ou qui souhaitent un téléphone facile à utiliser.
