AEM FTW!
Great product and price. I had the post MAF silicone tubes with K&N filters, and these AEM intakes are much better. The silicone intakes were a pain to get in position and a pain to deal with when trying to get filters out to clean. With the AEM it was a straight forward easy install and fitment was on point. Access to clean filters is so much easier now too. Overall, I am very happy I made the switch to AEM.

Not bad but could be better
It would be a great product if the hardware parts were not made out of complete crap. The piece that connects to the side of the intake hose breaks very easily.

Great
Installed this AEM “Cold Air” intake system, really was just in it for opening up the intake noise. Installed perfectly, little rubbing on the stock plastics inside engine bay but other than that installed great. Really opens up the intake sound. Would recommend for sound alone, performance increase is very marginal if any at all due to the q50 already having a factory cold air system.

Sounds awesome great fuel economy.
You have to make sure that it’s screwed on a really tight or it will continue to pop off from the throttlebody.
