Hot Ones | Warm Up Pack (Season 21)

I'm a fan of Hot Ones and like the variety of flavor and heat in this selection. It's a reasonable price, higher than what you would pay for regular hot sauces.

Really good hot sauces. Maybe a bit pricy, but overall worth it. Three bottles with really good heat levels if you prefer the spicier end of the spectrum. Really like these.Taco Vibes Only is my favorite of the three though.

We ordered this and it arrived broken. The seller replaced it with no difficulties (after I navigated the infuriating Amazon return chatbot). We finally tried them and found them all very good. There is a huge difference in spice level between the hellfire and other two, but I guess I learned my heat limit haha. Very good, would order again but probably through heatonist’s website.

I love every sauce I'v tried from Heatonist/Hot Ones. In this batch:The Classic: Just what it claims to be- a classic hot sauce, but more tasty than Louisiana-style sauces. Pefect for hot dogs; New York and Chicago style.Rojo: My favorite "every day sauce." I use this sauce often. It has a great, complex flavor, with medium heat. Simply delicious with perfect, medium heat.Last Dab Apollo: My first and favorite Super Hot. It's fire, but tasty. I use it to add heat for soups and chili. I also mix it with milder sauces, to up their heat. Great sauce, with FIRE.

If you’re here, you like hot! These three are no exception, but there definitely more to it.The Morita Bourbon Maple Reaper sauce is easily the most flavorful of the pack. It’s absolutely delicious! The bourbon and maple are well balanced, and the peppers are smoky and have a decent bite to it. This one ranks a 6 on the Hot Ones index, even though its main pepper is a Reaper. Most likely it’s because the Reaper is somewhat diluted by the additional flavor profiles, but oh man, is it tasty!!!The next step up is The Forbidden Fruit from La Pimenterie. This one is a 7 on the HO index and definitely earns the bump in rank. It’s a lot more like a traditional style wing sauce, but its flavor is all pepper. Nothing fancy, but it IS delicious and when it’s the sole ingredient topping your wings it’ll make you sweat! Another great sauce!The third sauce ranks a 9 on the Hot Ones heat index, and really, this one was not a lot of fun. I appreciated the challenge of it, but there’s so much heat that I couldn’t find any flavor. I know everyone reacts differently, but here’s my experience. I was very careful and prepared for handling these wings. I had gloved hands I changed between each sauce, I used fresh hand towels anytime I had to wipe my face, I ate carefully and kept the sauce off my lips as much as humanly possible, and someone there to remind me to make sure I never went anywhere near my eyes with the sauce. That said, my body reacted to a VERY long burn. No remedy helped for any longer that I had it in my mouth. The second I either spat it out or swallowed the bread, crackers, milk, water, ice chips, citrus, cottage cheese, any home remedy I’ve ever heard of, the burn came back what seemed like double than before. Felt like an age before it was done. There was sweat, and my eyes did water, but even my tear ducts were contaminated with spicy, and I actually had burns down my face from it.Not mad about it though. I’m the one who opted in. I wanted the experience and I was not disappointed! Plus, the other two sauces were so good, I ended up using them daily!!! So if you’re into this kind of thing or just want to test your mettle against your favorite Hot Ones guests, this is 100% worth the price of admission!

While I love this product (although it's already difficult to justify the very high price point), the shipping is inexcusable. There was virtually no protection at all for the box, and it was shipped in a plastic Amazon envelope. It arrived with one of the bottle totally smashed, and the whole box was soggy and a mess from the sauce everywhere. If this were cheap I could forgive something, but at $46 for 3 bottles.... not cool. How have they not figured out shipping these safely? It can't be that difficult.

After watching Hugh and Ryan on their hot ones interview, we ordered the whole season. Highly recommend! We did the challenge and had a blast doing it. Red flag, los calientes barbacoa, & peppers up are our favorites. Fat cat is tasty, too.
