Does anyone know if this is compatible with Spigen Tough Armor cases? I’m concerned my iPhone 11 Pro Max’s built-in case stand will get in the way.

I use this on my Spigen Tough Armor case on a Pixel 7 Pro. It DOES interfere with the kickstand. You could align the ring a bit higher on the case but it MAY affect wireless charging.

Can this be attached directly to the back of a phone without using a case?

Probably, but it is intended to be permanent. I don't think you'll get it back off the phone without damaging the phone and it is thick enough to stop a case from staying on.

How does this compare to the "Spigen Metal Ring Plate"? The adhesive is going on one side, and I'm looking for another low-profile alternative.

Idk how it compares but works great I have no problems with fast wireless charging, my popsocket wallet doesn't move , but pops off with problem. I love it purchased a 2nd for my other case. Highly recommend!!
