I had to come back to this
I have only had 2 other brands of eaas and this one by far is the best tasting and most hydrating. These types of products evidently are usually sweetened artificially and just taste awful! The other brands definitely did. I could not even finish one of them even though it was expensive. I just couldn’t! I literally felt like I was drinking chemicals every time I drank it, Not with this brand, though! So, this will be the one from now on. And to top it off, I also feel a big difference in my workouts.I do double the dosage, though, so anyone who does not feel anything may want to try that.

For me it takes double
I like the taste of these aminos, but up until last night, I didn't have anything more to say about them. Prior to yesterday, I had only taken one serving at a time, and had noticed little in terms of performance or recovery. It had made water more palatable and refreshing to drink, so it kept me well hydrated, but beyond that, it was nothing more than a flavor enhancer for water. One scoop is pretty watered down in a full 20 oz water bottle, though. Last night, I added two scoops, and also started drinking sooner prior to working out (rather than just during). It made a world of difference. It was the best I have felt in a long time. I felt focused and in my element. I had extra energy, but not so much as to feel jittery, as with caffeine. It was really... perfect.I felt very alert for a long time and had a very hard time winding down to fall asleep, but I cannot solely blame that on this product, as I did have some caffeine and another supplement containing B vitamins late in the evening. I will continue to take this and monitor it's effects without other variables.Unfortunately, for me, it seems that two servings are necessary to achieve the desired effect. That means that the price per *actual* serving doubles, to about $2 per serving. That's about the same price as anm canned energy drink. Not bad, but I would hope to get more value out of a powder. Still, I really like the flavor, and if I continue to get the desired effect, a repeat of last night, then it would absolutely be worth it.*The scoop that comes in this jar has a SUPER LOOONG handle. It's really unnecessary. I've never seen a scoop like this. It is very hard to get back in the jar. I suppose I could stick it upside down, but to have the handle up, I've got to bend it to get it in. Kind of ridiculous.

Tastes clean
I love this BCAA & Electrolyte powder. It tastes clean and it's not very sweet.

Don't Buy for taste
The media could not be loaded. I do not know if this thing works or not but when it comes to the taste this thing is horrible. It tastes like wet sock. I got the "sour" candy. It's not sweet to start with as candies are and they forgot to add anything to make it "sour" because it's bland like water. Again if you are looking for a product that offers Eaa's and Bcaa's that have a good taste to it this is not it. There's a handful of others. Be warned

Effect was real for me - value equation is up to you; Orange crush best of 3 flavors tried
How much could BCAAs really make a difference for recovery? Not much I thought to myself. I didn't really have high expectations but thought I'd give it a try. To my surprise, I have noticed a difference in recovery times when consuming this directly after a hard workout - this shows up as my muscle soreness tending to not be as deep, and feeling refreshed sooner. I recommended it to my housemates who are now also asking for it after hard workouts. At risk of sounding like a commercial, it's not a miracle thing by any means, but a positive effect was noticeable (and welcome).I'd read reviews to the contrary saying that BCAAs are a waste of money, but my personal experience has been positive having experienced the effect. Now on to the value equation - that's up to you. At nearly forty dollars for forty servings, is it worth $1 to slightly speed up muscle recovery and/or avoid the same level of muscle soreness? For me, I plan to have some on hand for the tough workout days. The effect wasn't noticeable for lighter workouts or just for hydration, so it's not something I will likely consume daily, but having it ready is good to know I have an edge available.Taste wise - not great, but not terrible in my opinion - my housemates definitely don't care for it. That said, after a hard workout they will still drink it - because they has helped despite the taste.

Smells and tastes bad
Im not even a picky eater and also Cuban, so the taste is more blah to me. It’s not tasty like my other ones, but it’s not horrible. However, I can’t stand the smell. It smells like a pit latrine. I don’t know how else to describe the horrible smell. I keep mixing it with my other orange one just so i wont throw it away.On the plus side, it does mix way better than my other ones. But they really need to figure out the ingredient that makes it smell so bad.
