I've only just got this air duster (14/07/2023), and I figured I'd use it today (15/07/2023) to clean out my computer during the morning. I have had this computer that I built back in 2020, and I wanted to do a good clean of it since I've not opened it since building it. The air duster does a great job! and you get different nozzles depending on where you're focusing on etc. 3 different sizes of brushes too which helps to clean a bit more. I never used one of those compressed air cans before, and always felt a bit worried about using those. But, then I saw this beast. Very easy to use in my opinion. Gets a lot of the dust out and it's very powerful with 2 setting. One is more powerful than the other. There is a little kick with the more powerful option, but it wasn't bad at all. I used it to clean both my mums and my own computer, and I was not disappointed. I'll need to use it to clean my PlayStation out at some point too! :D

I wasnt sure about getting it at first die to the price and having doubts about how good an electric duster could be. Needless to say I was happily wrong. This thing is super powerful and does the job perfectly. I use it on my ps5 and all the attachments come in handy for cleaning out every spot without disassembling the console. Feels and performs like a good quality product and I'd reccomend it any day. It can overheat quickly but works perfectly fine in small bursts as the manual suggests, but otherwise its a great bit of kit.

I bought this to dust-out a computer. I have never used compressed air canisters so can't make any comparison between them and this CompuCleaner Xpert - Electric Air Duster. Here is what I made of it after having used it to clean out my computer: It comes with a good long power lead, 9 feet (approx) which saved dragging out an extension lead. There are three nozzle attachments that allow a variety of different directed blow areas to be used. To one of those nozzle attachments - the one that comes to a fine tapered end - it is possible to attach to the end of that a fine flexible "hose type" fitment that allows for reaching into difficult places and to the end of that can be attached a small "brush type" fitment. Of that nozzle that comes to a fine end I would like to note the following. When I first tried to fit the "hose type" fitment to the end it I couldn't get the plastic hose to go into the hole at the end of the nozzle. After a few minutes of struggling with it I then saw that at one small part of the inner hole of the nozzle there was a small piece of plastic sticking out (obviously a faulty area of moulding) that was preventing the hose from going into the nozzle. I trimmed the hole with a modelling-knife then the hose went into the nozzle but it was still a little bit of struggle (though not now because of a faulty moulding). By the end of that I pretty well thought that that fine nozzle could be improved if the inner edge of the hole into which the hose would be pushed was slightly chamfered - thus providing a lead-in for the hose, which might go in a bit easier if this was done. Once I got the hose in place and tried using it and its associated brush to clean the CPU heat-sink I found that I just couldn't use it - to use it effectively in an area that small would really require two people - one to hold the duster and one to use the hose tool. (I should note that when cleaning a CPU heatsink with a tool like this it is important to make sure that the blast of air, which is very strong, doesn't spin the CPU fan as it may spin the fan faster than the fan was designed for and hence damage the fan's bearings (so keep this in mind when using the duster around fans, either hold a fan blade or jam it (lightly) with a pencil to prevent the fan from spinning). I would also note of the same nozzle attachment that it has a hole in its side about 1.5 inches from the base of the attachment. I contacted the seller about this as I wasn't sure if that hole should be there or not. It turned out that the hole in the side of that attachment is deliberate and is meant to help stop the duster from overheating when that attachment is being use. (So don't experiment with blocking off that hole.) In use I thought the duster to be very good. The dust goes everywhere so, if you can, use it outside of the house. I got quite a lot of dust out of the CPU heatsink and the power supply unit of the computer. I did though find that I had to use one of the handily supplied ESD brushes to clean around the edge of the CPU heatsink. In all it took about half an hour to clean all of the inside of the computer. The duster does start to run hot after a couple of minutes of use, so hot that I thought it best to stop using it for a couple of minutes. In practise this works out fine as I found that using it for a couple of minutes, then switching to using the ESD brushes, then back to the duster (and so on), was the best method of doing the clean. In all I am very pleased with the duster and would recommend it. Once I put the computer back together after dusting it I found the CPU ran at a 1 to 3 degrees centigrade reduction in heat when the computer was at idle. Pretty impressive really for a half hour of work with the right tools for the job. Good buy and in the longer run cheaper than air canisters.

The Xpert has been produced for eight years at the time of writing and has an exceptionally high positive rating. Now I know why. I decided to go for a wired blower, rather than the much more prominently advertised battery blowers, because I thought I would get more power - and I was right. On its high setting the Xpert presses keys on a mechanical keyboard and blows my mouse onto the floor! The Xpert looks rather like and is about the size of a plant watering can and is covered with a matte anti-static coating which works - no blown dust ends up on it. The mains lead is thick, braided and about 10 feet long; it goes straight from three-pin socket to Xpert without a "brick". There are three brushes provided to get dust and dirt out of awkward spots then three nozzles/combined brush-nozzles to blow it away. The last click onto the Xpert with a twist; if they were merely pushed on they would fly off in the air flow. There is a straightforward but effective safety mechanism - the rocker switch has three settings, off, high and low, and air blows only when the switch is pressed and held to high or low; the moment it is not held the air flow stops. There are no other controls. As noted, the blast of air on the high setting is fierce - and noisy. Others have noted that hot air blows after a while. This is no surprise given that the motor is 550W, and the fix is simply to switch it off and let the Xpert cool. Obviously the target by design is electrical goods, and a few seconds on high clears all manner of rubbish out of keyboards and the back panel or insides of various devices, but I have had good results using the Xpert on: - Extractor fans and ducting - Filters (dehumidifier, tumble dryer etc.) - Radiators - Air bricks - Corners - Spiders' webs - Bed (between slats) - Under skirting boards (gap between board and floor) - On top of architraves The amount of dust and other nameless horrors that the Xpert blew out of air bricks in particular, which had probably not been cleaned for decades as there was no way of doing so until now, was almost unbelievable. I strongly recommend wearing a face mask. The last three are either where dust is pushed by vacuum cleaners or is hard to remove and, again, there were showers of it produced. As well as a face mask, light-coloured clothing is a good idea. Spiders' webs are a nuisance to remove because they stick to whatever removes them. No problem with that here. I add that the Xpert removed absurd quantities of crumbs from a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 which someone left after resigning from their job. (Worth repairing although no longer produced, as it is one of the few keyboards with reverse tilt). The Xpert is expensive but well worth it because of its excellent design, power, simplicity and versatility, although I recommend a hand vacuum cleaner as well to pick up what it blows.

I brought this to help clean out the Dust in my PC and to save money on air compressors cans. The performance is amazing, I tried it on 3 things, my gaming pc, keyboard and Fan. The power is pretty good and powerful, it does make a lot of noise to please take that into consideration, but in a way thats good because least you know it works and is doing the job you paid for it to do. The result on the Keyboard was amazing, got rid of all the dust and crumbs and made it easier to notice what was dust and what needed to be cleaned down. Second item I tested was my Tower Fan, now normally you would open the fan and clean it out that way, but with my fan you cant open it without damaging the seal and ruining the warranty, so instead I used this and it got rid of all the dust build up from the inside, making the performance for the Fan much more better. Lastly was the PC, now I took my pc apart and used this to clean out the fans and inside my pc case to get rid of dust hiding away, it work well on all my parts and didn't damage them, it also didn't create any moist, so no worries about that. My pc is working perfectly without any issues. I will say this, when using this product. It doesn't have a speed/power level, only a on or off switch, and you have to hold down to keep on. Also push it in small burst and dont hold down for long because you will risk burning it out. Overall im really happy with this product, and for the money I paid for it, it does the job without fail.

All I can say is wow, this is powerful, small heavy thing that feels like quality build, cleanable filter on the base and in the long run cheaper than cans of air. Great buy.

Great bot of kit, left my pc and consoles looking spotless and dust and noise free. 2 speeds, numerous attachments great for clearing dust and cobwebs in hard to reach areas, just be aware it heats up quickly, so short bursts and downtime to cool will keep this tool going for many uses to come instead of burning out after a few uses. This tool really doesn’t need to be on that long a few short blasts and your fans and vents will be dust free . Decent size and bag make it nice and portable. Just a shame it’s corded. But I’ve found the battery versions to be rubbish

Arrivato velocemente con un buon imballo Buona qualità delle plastiche e diversi accessori a disposizione. L'ho provato la prima volta per pulire il mio notebook e devo dire che il getto d'aria già sulla prima velocità è davvero impressionante. È vero quello che dicono le altre persone, il motore scalda un po l'aria in uscita ma penso che vista la potenza e i giri al minuto sia del tutto normale. Non va utilizzato in continuo ma a piccole accensioni separate e sinceramente per pulire un PC o zone inaccessibili dove si accumula la polvere penso che sia più che soddisfacente. Se si esige potenza e continuità dell'aria per fare grossi lavori l'unica cosa da fare è acquistare un compressore con bombola da almeno 20 litri. Il Notebook dopo circa 3 minuti di soffiaggio è tornato silenzioso come nuovo e non scalda più. Gli accessori sono ben fatti e diversi per ogni esigenza dal flusso largo a quello più stretto o con spazzola ed ottimo è l'attacco a baionetta che li aggancia il modo sicuro. Il prossimo candidato è il PC desktop e vediamo un po cosa succede. Io per il momento sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto e se ci saranno novità o problemi non mancherò di aggiornare la recensione.

Después de probar varios a batería que eran decepcionantes, mucho ruido y poca chicha, además de calentarse y comerse la batería en pocos minutos, por fin encuentro uno que realmente sirve para limpiar equipos y mucho más, tengo obras en casa y me ha servido para quitar la suciedad de las obras de los electrodomésticos, ya que tiene mucha potencia y dos velocidades. El pulsador es de seguridad, si sueltas se para. El tacto y la construcción es de gran calidad, y el funcionamiento perfecto. Sopla con una potencia que va sobrado en la limpieza de equipos. Además no hay el miedo de dañar algo que tenía con los esprays de aire comprimido que congelaban la zona al estar llenos y echar aire congelado. Compra recomendadísima para cualquiera que quiera ver sus equipos limpios.

Ich nutze den CompuCleaner Xpert jetzt seit einiger Zeit regelmäßig und bin ehrlich gesagt begeistert. Die Leistung ist wirklich beeindruckend – selbst hartnäckiger Staub in Lüftern, Netzteilen oder schwer erreichbaren Ecken wird mühelos entfernt. Im Vergleich zu klassischen Druckluftdosen ist das ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass die Leistung konstant bleibt. Keine nachlassende Power, kein Vereisen wie bei Sprühdosen – einfach einschalten und loslegen. Die verschiedenen Aufsätze sind durchdacht und machen das Reinigen deutlich präziser, egal ob PC, Tastatur oder andere Geräte. Klar, das Gerät ist nicht flüsterleise, aber das ist bei der Leistung absolut nachvollziehbar. Dafür spart man sich auf Dauer eine Menge Geld und produziert keinen unnötigen Müll mehr durch Einwegdosen. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung – wer regelmäßig Technik reinigt, wird das Teil nicht mehr missen wollen.
