A quality product that produces a professional finish
I purchased this as I was repointing a few bricks and thought I would have the proper tool to hand to shape the mortar as in the past I made do with a piece of dowel or whatever I could find to do the job. The product is not expensive and it is nice to have the correct tool at last to do the job properly. It is strong and durable and easy to use. It provides the intended function of shaping the mortar nicely. Each end has a different size to suit your mortar width.

Great for DIYer
I got this to point a few bits of the garage , it is easy to use with a trowel has 2 sizes and is sturdy enough . Will last me out. Good price as well

Does the job BUT……..
It does the job well, easy to use and leaves a nice smooth finish. But unfortunately it’s not stainless steel as advertised which is a big disappointment, it means if it’s left damp it rusts and this will eventually spoil the tool because the pitted surface will become sticky and drag the finish.

Great tool, did the job with no issues
Used this tool with resin to fill in the gaps caused by previous resin coming loose. Worked a treat and help me put channels into the resin. The two different sized handles came in very helpful. A cheap tool that will probably last me a lifetime.

This is a tool that seems impossible to buy in Sweden and the Swedish solutions fall well short of what is a standard tool for an English bricklayer. I was over the moon to find it’s possible to buy via Amazon and am proud to have brickwork joints that excel all others here😀
