Got this project for me and my wife to do we spent a few hours probably more than it said but this was our first one like this we loved it great project to do with your partner or even with the kids

Brilliant product, good solid design with decent complexity. It also has a very good light level which is rare in these types of models. I had one issue which was that I broke the metal arm on the bit the turns the light on and off - wish I’d had a spare as I’m still trying to come up with a fix.

This is a beautiful object, with two light options. Very enjoyable build can’t recommend enough.

I bought this model for my husband for Christmas as he likes making them and has indeed built many of them. This was the first from Wood Trick and he built it comfortably. BUT the lantern didn't turn on when the base was rotated even after rechecking his build. Hence 2 stars.

If your going to make the boards so thick at least make the pieces easier to remove. I've snapped so many key pieces now. Also the plastic that goes round the lights isnt long enough to fit in the slot without fixing it in some way.. i dont have anything on me at the moment only whats in the kit. Flared pieces that are supposed to slot all way in hole sticks out. Only thing i'll say is its study enough to survive being launched around my campervan in anger. Is that why the parts are so thick??

I’ve put quite a few of these wooden puzzles/models together and I can say this one may look easy but it’s got a lot of small pieces, a lot of overlaying pieces, and moving parts which directly affect the electronics that controls light functionality. If you’re an intermediate to advanced “model citizen” and have 12-24 hrs for yourself then I highly recommend you spend it putting this one together. It’s a beautiful piece and the best part.. it’s functional! I love it when they’re functional. As you’d expect, it’s an entirely wood model. There will be pieces that will take patience getting connected together. That said, I got this one together without maiming or breaking any pieces. Just be sure to move the moving parts as soon as they are able to move so you rub the wood together and smooth it out. It’ll make the moving parts more fluid. And pay attention to the switch box direction and housing clips when mounting that. Otherwise the pieces are solid and my set came apart without any issues or breaks. There was some damage to one of the wood panels but it was outside of any of the actual model pieces. None of those were damaged fortunately. Newer model citizens should put this on their “wish list” and save it until this is their 3rd or 4th model. Maybe even 5th or 6th. Sorry, but your tender little fingertips will be done by the time you put together the first half of this awesome model. Overall, awesome piece and surprisingly challenging.

J'ai débuté le montage et arrivé au point visible dans la vidéo la partie electrique lampe ne fonctionne pas. Et bien entendu ce n'est pas le genre de choses qui puisse être retournée... Edit: Responsable trouvé, une des led est littéralement cassée... Edit2: Après un échange avec le vendeur, ils m'ont fait parvenir une bande led neuve, Merci ! Tout fonctionne parfaitement désormais, très beau puzzle !
