SportCount Chrono 200 Digital Finger Timer - Rot

I have had this lap counter 2 months now and I would not be without it. Admittedly it took me a little while to get used to, but now I have, I completely rely on it - no more trying to keep count of laps swum in my head! I had considered the swimming watches, but they were much more expensive & seemed to work by sensing a change of direction so I was not sure they would count accurately when you swim up one side of the pool, around the top then down the lane dividers (more of a 'u' turn than swimming to the end then turning). Very glad that I bought this and I have found it motivating to review my stats at the end of a swim: it tells you your average length time; your fastest length; your slowest length; the time each length took and your total swim time. I make of note each time I swim and can easily see that as well as achieving more lengths, my swim speed is also increasing. Even on days when it feels tough going I can feel good that I managed some fast lengths.

Excellent. I bought mine 7 years ago and swim frequently. In that time I have got through two sets of batteries and now finally I have worn out the button.

Does what it says on the tin. Has worked perfectly so far (after about 1 month usage). The controls take a bit of getting used to but it accurately counts and times laps and gives total time etc. Only minor complaint is that I find the strap rather fiddly - I have to do it up first and then slide it on to my finger, which is a little awkward. However, once there it sits quite comfortably and doesn't move.

Used this a few times in the pool & then gave up. Was often not sure whether the lap button had registered or not so had to end up counting my laps to see if it was correct. Defeats the object.

I swim regularly and can never remember how many laps I have completed. This is brilliant, just fits on your finger, all I have to do is press a button after each lap and it keeps tally. It does have other 'timer' functions, but I have never used these. The print is quite small, so if you have poor vision you may find it difficult. However, I need glasses for reading - which I do not wear whilst swiming - and I can read the lap counter.

I bought this to record my best lap times when speed training in the pool. I considered other swimming trackers, but none of them seem to include a stopwatch mode. It's difficult to recommend at £40, with no way to replace the battery, but it is a convenient way to record lap times/counts and, so long as you remember to click the button, probably more accurate than sensor-based trackers. −1 star because £40 is way too much for an underwater stopwatch/tally counter. −1 star because the battery is not replaceable.

Does everything I expected from it and more

Pratico ed affidabile, funziona bene. Ho le mani piccole e non ho nemmeno provato ad abituarmi a premere con il pollice, uso l'altra mano per premere il tasto che ha abbastanza corsa affinché io sia certo di averlo premuto senza guardare il display. Nessun falso contatto. Semplice da usare senza impazzire a capire e ricordare tutte le superflue funzioni di modelli più sofisticati. Non cerca di capire quando torno indietro, non cerca di capire come nuoto. Non è uno di quei prodotti "intelligenti" che sbagliano. Premo il tasto e lui conta e basta, come deve. Se un giorno non riuscissi a cambiare la batteria ne comprerò un altro, uguale.

Quand, comme moi, vous perdrez en permanence le compte des longueurs de piscine, c'est la solution. Simple, efficace et solide

Leider kann die Batterie nicht gewechselt werden - für den hohen Preis ein totales No Go. Haben die Batterie professionell wecheln lassen, danach war sie leider undicht und unbrauchbar. Sonst wäre es eine tolle Uhr. VIele Funktionen - persönlich benötigte ich aber nur den Lapcounter.
