Worth it!
I got this as a transition for some LVP I had put down that was over carpet. This sticks super well to the carpet. Things with wheels rollover it nicely. I also use them as a transition on an upright display case. The gravity does not help that sticky situation but overall if buy again!

Good choice for our project but adhesive could be better
Product worked for our transition piece between the kitchen (vinyl) and living room (carpet) area. It was easy to cut and put in place, but the adhesive did not work well for us. We used carpet tape (which was slightly too wide) to secure the rubber strip. The product is saving us time and money until we can renovate the area. I would recommend an additional adhesive.

Doesn't stick
The strip doesn't stick to the floor well at all! The adhesive isn't very sticky, and the rubber/plastic is curved inwardly along where the adhesive is, so only the edges touch the ground unless you're pushing down on the strip. I put my full body weight on the strip in multiple places, and it genuinely did nothing to help the strip of rubber stick to the floor. Keeping this would just be a tripping hazard, so I'm better off just having the edge of my carpet uncovered if this is the alternative.

Looks good but the a adhesive didn't hold
Looks good but the a adhesive didn't hold had to use clear gorilla glue to make it stay in place

It works!!
I was very nervous buying this trim, thinking that my carpet is thicker than 5mm, and it wouldn't stickto the floor.... I was wrong! This trim is STICKY!! A project we've put off for 5 years in the basement is finally done!! I cleaned the vinyl floor with alcohol, let it dry, and started sticking! Went over the carpet perfectly, and stayed down immediately! Wish I had found this years ago!

Easy to put down, holds tight, great color
After receiving quotes from a local carpet company to replace the strip between the kitchen and living-room for $350+ dollars, we decided to give this a try. We are so happy with it! First we took up the old strip that was nailed down. Then, we cleaned the floor with rubbing alcohol to get up any dirt. Let it dry, Then cut the 20ft strip to size (about 14 feet). Then started pulling the paper off the adhesive, a little bit at a time, heating the adhesive with a hot hair blow dryer and putting it down in a straight line, in about about 12 -18 inch sections. The adhesive strip held tight! It has been about 3 weeks since putting it down and it still looks great! We used the gray wood color! It ended up costing us about $30 instead of $350+.
