We are in love with these! They can be used as hand held swats, but they attract and kill insects even when they are on the charger. They can be set to use as swats only or constantly on. You can tell they are activated when the lights are on. This is fruit fly season for us and we are very pleased with how well they are helping us control them. Looking forward to trying them out on mosquitos outside. I'm not sure about the batteries because they are rechargeable so it's going to awhile before I can review that part.

I like being able to stand them up and plug them in. We will swing them as weapons when around but putting them on the charge and leaving them on at night provides a night light and they actually get more effective in the dark since the bugs go towards the light source when you are sleeping.

These attracted the bugs and zapped them just as soon as I put them in the room. You do need to clean the area below the zapper because it has no trey. It is exactly as described, and I am fine with how it operates. Good choice for me!

So, I was so exctied the first time I hit a fly with this thing...loud pop! Boom! But the fly kept flying!? I zapped him again and he fell to the ground buzzing around on his back. Maybe the fly is just too big to get properly zapped? I did a get a moth with it and it zapped it so hard it almost disiegrated. Although it did leave a burnt smell in the air for a while. I love several of the features. I like being able to turn it full on (instead of having to push the button) as I'm waving it around as often bugs seem to find there way to it when I'm not expecting. Also the charging stand is great. I never need to wonder if its charged and when I leave it running at night it often get a couple I was not even aware had come in.

I don’t have any complaints about this electric flyswatter. It works great. I should say they were great. They are sturdy. The design is just perfect for what they are used for. My first one broke within a couple of months by another company. I highly recommend this product.

I keep one in my kitchen and one in my bedroom because these mosquitos are crazy around here. I like the light on it. It attracts the mosquitos to it and they fly to their own impending doom. I don't even have to get up! woot!

This product works great when charged, but they do not hold a long charge even when plugged in for a long time. Save your money!

Very happy with this product does what supposed to do? Extremely good product will buy again if needed.
