Buster Kitchen Plughole Unblocker, 150g

Works fast and effectively to clean my sink and stop all the nasty smells. It unblocked it on the first use of this product.

Absolutely fantastic. My sink kept clogging up, pretty sure the previous owners dumped food down the drain... Bought 3 of these, emptied as much water out the sink as possible and followed the instructions. Sink is wonderful now!!

This was really difficult to get into the drain as it all got stuck around the plug hole. After much prodding with a skewer and a teaspoon, 20 mins later it started fizzing and smelt terrible. After running hot water down the drain for a good 5 mins or so the sink was completely free of blockage! I would use it again but it is a faff.

Works very well. Use every 3 months.

Doesn't seem as good as the bathroom unblocker, which was phenomenal. It didn't fizz so it was hard to know if it was working. Water flows away a little quicker, so perhaps I have less of a blockage, more of a pressure/air lock problem.

Very active product( be warned) better than others I’ve used as I only use it monthly to flush out any settled residue as I had to fit a corrugated pipe.

The bottle does warn that the product will heat up and cause fumes, but you really do have to look for it in the small text. I also didn’t see that you shouldn’t eat or drink around it, so I’d already made a cup of tea just before using the product. There were a lot of visible fumes coming out of the overflow, and the smell is very strong; I had to open the back door because I was really struggling to breathe. As for draining speed, it’s hard to tell as the product is powder and quite a lot remained above the plug hole for some reason. I had to boil the kettle a couple of times to clear the remaining powder. Some of the powder had also solidified, so I’m not sure if that’s normal or not. The plughole itself looks mostly clean, so it appears to have worked, but half hour after having rinsed the product away with kettle water, the smell is still there and I don’t love it. If it’s worked though, then that’s good, I’ll really have to decide if I’ll be using this product again though
