Sturdy and Fabulous
Bought this set for my sons college apartment. The price was so good I was pleasantly surprised and how sturdy and well made they were. Great weight not flimsy. The black is a great matte finish. So chic!

Look Nice, but questionable durability
Look nice at first, but don't really hold up. I've had this set for over a year now with continuous use in a 2 person home. They are beginning to rust (along the serrated edges of the butter knives, and between the spikes of the forks), which is concerning and odd. The finish looks weird too. Starting to become uneven and less matte. They made a really nice presentation with my matte black dishes at first, but now they look tired. I'll probably replace them soon, as they resemble hand-me-downs from the college days. lol.

nice inexpensive set
we're liking it, the set looks good and is sort of medium-weight, at an excellent price. We got one on vine and liked it enough to buy another outright for a larger set....

Horrible quality
As soon as it touched water it rusted. Didn't even make it through the first time washing before using.

Wasn't what I expected
After reading so many positive reviews I pulled the trigger. I didn't find the weight or color to be satisfactory. The soup spoon was really large. The matte black color was very subtle when I was looking for something more striking for contrast. I really liked that this came with matching steak knives and those were very nice. Returned.

Surprisingly heavy, it feel very nice in the hand
I was really impressed with the weight and feel of this cutlery set. Each item is surprisingly heavy, yet still feels quite ergonomic and has a good feel in the hand. This particular set, comes with a black coating. The only issue with this black coating, was you need to wipe the cutlery down straight after washing, or you tend to get very slight marking and discoloration, that is easily cleaned again with just plain water and dried. The full prongs maybe a little on the long side for some people. But the knife has a good cutting edge and a good blade. Though the dessert spoon it's a little on the large side, the length and feel of the teaspoon, certainly make up for this, could even be used as a Sunday spoon. Overall except the impress with both the quality and the feel of this cuttery set before.

Really like them!
Having always used simple stainless steel cutlery, I recently got a set of quite ornate gold-coloured cutlery just for fun, but ended up really liking it and we use it quite a lot. So I thought, it would again, be a bit of a talking point at dinner, to try out this set of black cutlery, and we really like ths set too. Not ornate, it’s a simple design, really sturdy thick handles but without losing any elegance to the style. The colour is a dark grey/black with a nice shine to the finish. Would definitely buy these again!

Love the colour/tone
I really like thee. So the tone of “Black” that these are, looks great, its not “flat”, it’s a nice metallic black, that has light movement across it as I move the cutlery, which is nice. The thing that surprised me the most is the weight of these, it’s impressive, they have a really nice feel to them, the shafts are nice and thick, and the weight just makes them balance nicely in my hands. The sizes of these are also impressive, they are thick metal, and a decent length & width, making them a really nice, full size cutlery set. These add a great look to our dinner table, and feel lovely in hand.

Very Stylish
This cutlery pack is very good quality, they are very sturdy and wont bend easily at all. You can get them in black or silver, we decided to get the black and they look amazing on the table, so stylish. We had a couple of friends over for lunch and set the table with these, they where amazed at how cool they looked and wanted to know where we got them. They do seem a little larger than normal but not that you cant eat with them. Can be washed in the dishwasher too. Priced at £14.99 for the 16 piece set I personally think they are worth it.

Hmmmmm
The first thing to get out of the way is a confusion...dishwasher safe...then on the back of the box it says "Dishwasher NOT recommended"????. These are made from 18/10 stainless steel which is supposed to be the higher end finest. & they do feel very robust & strong. They are on the longer side handle wise...I liked the way the forks sat in my hand...not too keen on the others...but we're used to what we're used to. They have PVD plating...for the colour of course...which is supposed to be durable & hard wearing. The set does look nice & the box they came in when full was certainly heavy! I had a couple of gripes though with the overall quality..see pics....the coating process left a bubble mark on a knife....there were scratches on the back of one spoon....you could see silver metal showing through on the rim of another spoon....& also on the edge of a fork....this one felt a bit sharp...like run your finger along it too hard it may break your skin? So I have to question the longevity of its overall unmarked black looks compared to your normal stainless steel cutlery. Shame I had the odd problem as overall as a decent looking...definitely hard wearing...set....made with superior stainless steel....They also do your normal looking S.Steel set..a bit shorter in length....but I think they look well polished & great too...might be worth also checking them out? I knocked a star off for the odd imperfections....would I have noticed or be bothered if I had bought these & didn't have to scrutinise them for the sake of a review? I dunno. Oh...I liked the serrated edges of the knives!
