Standard Pillow - Black

Well, I needed something to lay up against the wall while sitting on my bed and this bed pillow is perfect for that. It's not the most comfortable pillow it provides good enough back support. It's not soft like an actual pillow, but it's not supposed to be. Its job is to be sturdy and still enough to support your back while sitting on the floor or your bed without falling over and it does that easily. I'm happy that I made the purchase and it's worth the money considering I use it often. It looks good too and has a soft feel to it. The pillow itself is very sturdy so it won't fall over. It has great support for my neck also without the worry of any strain or discomfort. The only dislike would be that if you sit for long, it will be a bit uncomfortable on your back, but this can be fixed by placing a soft pillow in front of it for extra comfort. I found myself having to do this frequently and this tended to fix the issue. Other than that this pillow is great for sitting in bed watching tv, reading a book, or browsing on your computer. No more sitting my back up against a hard wall or trying to stand a pillow up to lay against. This is the ultimate bed rest pillow to suit your needs.

BEST item we’ve purchased on AMAZON in 10+ years! Sturdy, comfortable, the fabric feels good against everyone’s skin in our family, so much so that looks like we’re going to buy a few more to prevent squabbles over this! Needs to be fluffed up/shaken, maybe placed in sun to aerate it after being compressed so much for shipping. We laundered (personal preference) the reversible cover (purchased the ‘Aspen’ for $20 extra to get the 2 different colors & 2 different fabric choices offered), not a customized feature, saying this so not to confuse anyone. The retail/online/big box/chain & discount stores sell numerous versions of a ‘reading/tv bed and floor pillow’. I’ve wasted $$$ over the years, buying those and even trying to ‘re-engineer’ some myself to no avail. Suggest forget/donate those, buy this one that IS quality/comfort/support and worth the extra $$; doubt you’ll regret it! UPDATE: (11/30/19) My personal preference is the ‘fiberfill’ vs the ‘memory foam’. There’s a slight difference, where the ‘memory foam’ seems perhaps best for people seeking firmer support & the ‘fiberfill’ seems like a soft/warm hug in the colder months. The Seller has been Phenomenal, going beyond anything I’ve EVER experienced (especially among an online purchase scenario), they’ve helped me find the best comfort level for my needs. And they even have an extra bag of the filling if you might need to make your pillow firmer/fuller. In a nutshell, buying this item from anyone other than THIS SELLER ‘Hit Notion’ couldn’t possibly be the best decision! During these times of the “Covid-19 Pandemic” we’ve discovered it’s FANTASTIC for relieving back/seat pain issues (for reclining chair users) due to lack of support in TODAY’S (extremely lacking in quality) FURNITURE. Sadly today’s reclining furniture (are NOTHING even semi-close to the quality/support/durability of the Lazy-Boy) no longer provide those wonderful factors as the quality of Lazy-Boy reclining furniture; therefore sitting in reclining chairs (the non Lazy-Boy types) can result in Sciatica, lower back pain, numbness & sore muscles. However, with this FANTASTIC pillow placed behind your back providing EXCELLENT support & comfort, it can turn the sub-par reclining furniture into the comfort of every Lazy-Boy we’ve owned since the mid 70’s! (1970’s that is!) Now sitting in the reclining furniture with this pillow makes it a piece of furniture in need of a sign above it warning users that the chair can easily cause users to fall asleep quickly & wake-up with no pain despite hourrrrsss of “snoozing” in the chair now! After a failed lumbar/coccyx fusion procedure over a year ago, I continue to experience chronic back pain and I am always actively looking for specialty cushions that are specifically designed to enhance back support and aid with all day comfort. If you’ve ever been interested in similar products, I highly suggest giving The Husband Pillow a try. Simply amazing. I have been looking for such an item that has good back support as I had surgery and this is amazing since I’ve had it for the last week. I feel a lot better support wise when I sit in a chair that doesn’t have much support. I suggest anybody who needs support to purchase.

Pillow arrived in time for my surgery. It is a quality item is as pictured in the advertisement. Satisfied. I thought there was a detachable pillow for the top. I even asked “Rufus” who confirmed it. It did not arrive.

Its way too stiff. I like the two storage pockets.

Das Sitzkissen Husband Pillow / Aspen - Version kam wie versprochen von der Lieferzeit her pünktlich an! Vom Kissen selber sollte man ca. je nach Zimmertemperatur ungefähr lt. Hinweis des Herstellers 24-48 Std. gewartet werden , bis sich das Kissen von seiner komprimierten Form auf seine ursprüngliche Größe enfaltet hat. Die Aspen Version ist zwar etwas teurer, aber dafür ist der Stoff wie beschrieben wendbar! Sozusagen eine kühlere Seite für den Sommer und eine kuschlige Seite für die Wintertage! Das Kissen ist relativ schwer und hat somit einen guten Stand. Es gibt auch keinerlei lästige oder unangehmen Gerüche von sich und man kann es nach erstmaligen waschen, wenn gewünscht sofort eingesetzt werden nach dieser ersten einmaligen Aklimatisierungsphase! Also ich bin mit dem Kissen sehr zufrieden, freilich könnte es etwas günstiger sein, aber "Aspen" wie der Name schon sagt ist kein billiges Pflaster! Manchmal denkt man gar nicht wie groß doch der Aufwand eines Produktes ist, bis es verkauft werden kann, aber wenn es dann den eigenen Ansprüchen und der Qualität entspricht, gebe ich lieber ein paar Euro mehr aus und bin zufrieden damit!

Me encanta el cojín. Es robusto y cómodo, ideal para el sofá o la cama y estar erguido. Lo he comprado porque me van a operar de la mandíbula y no puedo dormir tumbada ni apoyar la cara. Además, me viene genial para cuando quiero estudiar estando cómoda en el sofá. Lo recomiendo al 100%

This has been such a great support for my back while I work at home sitting on my bed. I was getting terrible backache but this is firm and supportive....no more backache. Love the colour too. It's very cool!

My Aspen husband pillow arrived today and I am already cuddled into it . I left it in my sunny conservatory and fluffed it up and it has already expanded. It is sewn to a high standard , made in quality reversible material. It is now in situ on my couch ready for my tv viewing and I will also use it to get comfortable when I read in bed or check my emails. It is very versatile and can easily be moved around .
