Reduce waste and can save money over time
Reusable menstrual pads are becoming a popular alternative to disposable pads because they offer a combination of comfort, sustainability, and long-term savings. Most cloth pads are made with soft cotton, bamboo, or charcoal fabrics layered with absorbent cores and a leak-resistant backing. One of the biggest advantages is the comfort level. Many users find reusable cloth pads noticeably softer and less irritating than disposable products because they don’t contain the same plastics, fragrances, or adhesives. Bamboo and organic cotton versions especially tend to feel breathable and gentler on sensitive skin. Another strong benefit is the eco-friendly and cost-saving aspect. Since the pads are washable and reusable for years with proper care, they sig Many reusable pads also feature snap-button wings and leak-resistant layers, helping them stay securely in place while protecting clothing. Higher-quality versions offer multiple absorbency levels for light, regular, or overnight flow. Products like organic cotton and bamboo-core pads are especially appreciated for absorbency and odor control.Significantly reduce waste and can save money over time compared to constantly purchasing disposable products.

I should have bought these years ago!
Not to be too graphic, as a plus-sized woman who normally uses a LOT of extra-jumbo-sized disposables to avoid leakage and uncomfortable sogginess, I wasn't sure how well these would work, and the upshot is I LOVE THEM! They're soft, comfortable, and once you get used to the feeling of real fabric between your legs, they're superabsorbent and wick everything away so effectively you forget it's even there until it's time to clean them... instead of using three or four disposables in a day, I only needed one and it still had plenty of absorbancy left at the end! Make sure you put them on the right way round - they are triangular for a reason. I put the first one on backwards because I thought it would absorb more, and spent the rest of the day putting it back into place because every time I started walking, it started migrating towards my bum! Eventually I realised this wasn't working and turned it around, and the problem was solved. The wider end of the triangle goes forwards and then your body movements press it more firmly into place instead of sliding it away... also, obviously, the grey fluffy lining goes towards your skin (I read somebody reviewing another pad and saying it didn't absorb anything at all, and I'm pretty sure they had it on upside down...) As for cleaning, unfortunately that's the unavoidably messy part. If you don't want to see the blood you can save them all up until the end of your period and put them in the washing machine and let it deal with the mess, but if you want to reuse them you have to wash them out by hand as you go along... somebody suggested doing the initial rinse in the shower and it worked well. I could clean the pad at the same time as I cleaned myself, then rinse it under the tap, wring it out thoroughly and hang it on the clothes horse to dry overnight. Then I machine-washed them at the end of my cycle before I put them away in the cute little fabric storage bag until next month. The bag will also come in handy if you're going to be out of the house for a very long time and you want to take a spare with you. It's made of the same leakproof fabric as the liners, so you can fold the used pad and tuck it away inside until you get home. Hand-washed pads took 12 hours to dry, the ones I put in the machine were dry in about 6 because the machine spin is much more thorough than I could ever manage myself. So, if you don't want to keep washing these, buy enough to last you! (if buying for the whole cycle, you do not need more than one pack of the overnight ones unless you have a super-heavy flow. They were far more pad than I needed after the first days and I reverted to my remaining stock of disposables until I can buy more.)

Good product but needs 2 things..
I normally use a cup but sometimes I don't feel like hassling with it and prefer pads. Unfortunately disposables are not breathable or comfortable to sit in all day so that started my search for other options. These wegreeco pads are long (perhaps my mistake in choosing the sizes) but definitely get the job done. I find that to not have to play slip and slide like other reviewers have complained about, BUT you HAVE to use form fitting underwear. Meaning snug and full coverage. Otherwise you'll have to constantly re arrange it and you'll go to sit down and feel like it's twisted, sitting sideways or that youll leak through. The long pads or larger sizes? Are great for overnight or heavy flow. No worries about leaking (when using the correct undies) or waking up to a mess on the sheets. The grey charcoal is what you end up sitting on. It's soft (so not itchy) and also breathable. That being said, in the hot summer, I did not find these that fun to use. During this time of the month our body remp is higher anyway and adding this sort of fabric to sit on was not comfortable for me. Overall I am happy with these I would just suggest the following: 1. Have they grey charcoal fabric extend to the wings as well. I've bought some smaller pads from happy beehinds and theirs do have this feature. I find this helps make the whole thing not quite so messy. 2. More snaps. I know wegreeco makes reusable diapers so the concept of adding multiple snaps isn't out of the question. Perhaps with more snaps would make it easier to stay in place without needing the snug and full coverage undies. I usually wash these in the shower and then let dry. Then i toss them in the washer on laundry day. You probably could skip the hand wash but then you run into the smell issue. Do NOT add fabric softener or this will ruin the abosorbancy. I put them in the dryer and have not had any issues of fraying or falling apart. I've used them for about 6 months now and they still look and feel brand new. If and when I need more I will buy these again.

Why and How I made the Switch to Reusables
First, this is going to be a loooong review. I want to share some of the things I have learned the hard way, so you don’t have to. Hope this helps someone who really needs it. Why I made the switch: *Cost- Over decades, I probably could have saved a good chunk of change by switching to reusables. However, probably not that much, because I would have spent it on other necessities, like rent or gas. *Stinky Trash. No explanation needed. *Stinky Trash clogging landfills. Again not much explanation needed. For many years, I was one of those who wrapped a plastic pad, in the plastic liner and placed it in a plastic shopping bag that was placed in amongst the rest of the household trash in a large trash bag. The layers of plastic were to prevent varmints from ripping your trash bags and spewing your most intimate trash all over the street. (Yes, this really happened. No, I do not want to talk about it) . This also ensured my trash would take longer to disintegrate. So going reusable eases my guilty conscience a tad. *Mild yet annoying irritation. No one knows what is really in disposable pads and tampons. There is something in it that irritates my skin. However, I don’t know what it could be because the ingredients are not listed on the package. Trade secrets, I guess. I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that it took me decades to figure this out. I just thought my monthly rash/irritation was a natural part of the end of my cycle. One month, I switched to some new foam something with wings, and it was worse, so much worse. Thankfully, it made me realize it was the pads. I was so disappointed because I thought these pads were my friends. Little did I know, they were just pretending to help me. So all of that being the case, you would think I would have switched right away. And you would be wrong. I knew that I would have to create a system. Switching would require a strategy, good tools and a low maintenance cleaning system. So here is my strategy, keep in mind, it is still a work in progress. Daytime: Wegreeco Large Reusable Pads Wegreeco Bamboo Reusable Sanitary Pads - Cloth Sanitary Pads - Pack of 5 (Large, Mix Prints) ¡ plus Sea Sponge Tampons (I bought these 3pcs/Set 100% Natural Sea Sponge Facial Puff,Soft and Deep Clean Your Face Without Heart Your Skin,Pure Sea Facial Puff.2.5-3" Assorted Size. Super Saving.100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. ) Nighttime: Wegreeco XL Reusable Pads Cleaning: Any Allergen Free Detergent So I purchased the XL pads for $24.95. I also purchased the Sea Sponges. But that will be a separate review. I have used both items for the last 4 months. And I have learned a few things. Here they are: Pre-Wash Prewashing increases absorbency. I threw these in with a regular load using the Allergen free detergent. They do take a long time to dry. I ended up running them through the dryer twice and finally hanging them to dry on an old plastic skirt hanger now dedicated for this purpose. These pads absorb wonderfully. Great for nighttime and especially for sleeping in. Installation They are about the size of the super duper overnight pads, hence my decision to make these my nighttime pads. I used these in the daytime with no problem, but if you don’t like to wear a bulky pad, don’t. Buy the smaller size. Pads come in all sizes because we all need something different. Long pads = better coverage. Better coverage= clean sheets. This is why I like the long pads. Ok, first things first, gray side up/color side down. Looking at the pads, you will notice that one end is tapered and the other is squared off. The tapered end goes in the front. On my set of three, that means the two snaps are on the left. This helps them to lay flat. I also found adjusting from one snap to the other can improve the fit as well. But you will need to wear underwear with a wider seat. Meaning, no thongs, g strings here, they won’t allow the pad to lay as flat as possible, the sides will curl up so you may get leaks. Once you have them installed correctly, get ready for softness. Yes, this is what a pad should feel like. No itchy scratchy here. After the first night, you will also realize this fabric breathes. At least, more than plastic breathes. Again, this is a good thing. After using these for awhile, I color code. I use the darkest blue on my heaviest day, then the pink and then the light blue. It helps me keep track when I have them in rotation and helps keep the lighter colors from showing stains. Cleaning Now that you can take these on and off, it is time to clean these suckers. This is probably the most important thing about using reusables. Most people clean the first layer. We need to clean the inner layer too. Trouble is, it is really hard to get it clean. If you don’t clean it, stains will remain and odor builds up over time and your reusables will end up being tossed sooner. I did a lot of research because this was my main concern, how do you clean something that is repeatedly being stained. Pinterest helped me find the answer. I put in laundry stains and the blogs responded. Here is what has helped me: Step 1 Rinse immediately with cold running water. More water pressure the better. I rinse in the tub, because the spout is directly over the drain and it has more water pressure than the sink. Rinse until the water runs clear. Congratulate yourself you have completed step one (the Red phase) Step 2 Hydrogen Peroxide soak. This is what I discovered, HP works on organic stains. I am not a scientist (not even close), so look it up for accurate info. But, all I do is soak the pad in HP for a few hours. It will sizzle as you saturate the pad, so you know it is working on getting to the inner layer. I use full strength and I use it liberally. I completely saturate the top layer and leave it. It does all the heavy lifting for me. Full disclosure: Last year, I bought three bottles at my local pharmacy for a $1 when it was on sale. It is very inexpensive and good to have in a home first aid kit. Just keep it in the original brown bottle out of reach of children. It is clear and looks like water and you don’t want to mistakenly have a child drink it. It could make them very sick. Step 3 Come back to the pad that has been soaking and it has plumped up. It is full of oxygen. Add some of the allergen free detergent to the top layer and scrub a dub. I scrub hard for a minute or so. Then I add water to the laundry tub and let the pad soak a little bit longer. (Personally, I don’t empty out the HP—no reason, just didn’t see the need). It is hard for me to keep track of times because this all will take place whenever I go into the bathroom. (or laundry room) I just do a step and move on. This is the lazy hand laundering method. I have even kept stuff soaking overnight. After this second soaking, I rinse the pad and hang it up on its’ handy dandy dedicated hanger and let it air dry. Step 4 After my cycle ends, I toss all the pads with a regular load in the washer and dryer for a final cleaning. It is my belief, the agitation of the washing machine and the heat of the dryer can do things I cannot. After 4 months, my pads are still very clean, no frayed edges and no residual odors. So this method works well for me. I will probably replace my pads after 12 months just on principle. And I plan on adding new ones to the mix. I love these pads and I hope you will too. P.S. I have found my cycle has changed a lot over the years. From no cramps at all to horrible, no good, very bad cramps. Not fun at all. Over time, I realized the cramps were my body’s signal that I was dehydrated. Just like the athletes with leg cramps, I needed to drink lots of water. This has greatly reduced my cramps and bloating. I thought I would mention it because it is easy and cheap and may work for someone else. If not, at least you will have gotten your daily quota of water.

Worth it!
Ok, I wanted to the period panties but didn’t want to pay that price. The cups didn’t appeal to me because I was trying to get away from putting something into my body. I was a lifelong tampon only wearer, but after having a baby and wearing those pads for 6 weeks I kinda thought, this isn’t really bad. I’ve been growingly concerned with chemicals in things we put into our bodies and just tired of constantly buying disposable products. Then covid hit, and I impulse bought these... I purchased a set in medium, a set in large, and an overnight set. I washed them a few times on delicate/delicate low heat dry to increase absorbency before use. When I use them, I use them with regular panties (nothing small, lacy, thongs, slippery, etc), and they stayed in place pretty well. They slide a little and are a bit bulky...so be prepared to either wear a longer shirt, tighter pants, or not care. The absorbency was good, and not crazy smells. I have 1.5 heavyish days, 2 medium days, and 1.5 light days, and the amount I got was perfect for one cycle. I rinsed in water after using, and hung to dry on one of those big tiered hangers with clips, and then washed them all together (in a mesh bag) after I was done with my period. Overall, I love them. Don’t fool yourself into thinking these will be the same as pads. Yes, they require more work, and are bulkier, and don’t stick in place (some users use clothing tape)...but they work great, are reusable and eco friendly, are a onetime cost, and I think they are well worth it. I went running with these on, and felt fine. I would recommend these for sure if you are considering alternative period products and have the time and wherewithal to put in a little extra work!!

Great pad, but it has a few "Cons" along with the "Pros"
I don't love this product but I also don't hate it.. I bought these as a "back-up" for my menstrual cup on my heavy days and at night. I saw no point in wasting money on disposables when there are great options like these reusable pads. Because they are a back up, I don't actually know how much they can hold until it starts leaking. I DO know that they can hold a lot, because I used these pads on my heaviest day when my cup reached its capacity and leaked a bit (that's the "back up" part lol). I was surprised to see how much blood was in the pad when I rinsed it, the dark material covers that up and I didn't have that "wet" feeling that disposables leave. They are VERY bulky, and they do slide a bit against my underwear which can cause unnecessary leaking because it can slip all the way to the front or the back of your underwear. it helps if your underwear is more fitted. They can so bulky that the middle part bunches up which can also cause blood to get on the waterproof wings of the pad (AKA: another possibility of leaking). They are very soft, but they can also be very hot. I do feel like the bulkiness plays a large factor in that. I wouldn't want to workout with these pads on, however they are fine for my everyday routine (running errands, etc). They are a good option to have, but I don't think I would ever use these pads as a main option for my cycle. After all of that I still couldn't go back to disposables, never will. My Lunette cup is a period life saver, and these pads are nothing more than a back up for me. For my "daytime" routine on my cycle, I do feel like a small may be better for me (assuming they are really thin unlike the bulky medium). However, the pads are more important to me at night so that is why I went with a medium. Washing them was a breeze. I wash them in a laundry net bag for delicate items, on a cold cycle, gentle detergent, and NO fabric softener. I air dry them once washed. It takes about 3-4 hours after being washed to completely air dry. Overall, they are a GREAT option to have.

Lovely option for the caring naturalist
Just to be clear, I don't normally wear pads. This is my first reusable pad purchase and probably haven't used normal pads since middle school. They just felt dirty and uncomfortable to me. Lately, I have been slowly turning my lifestyle into natural, organic and reusable in regard to everything. I makes me upset that there is so much waste and not enough recycling and reusing in this world. I have begun using menstrual cups and in conjunction with them I have bought these to try as a back up in case I fail at the cup. I also intend on using them for light days at the end of my period. I, for one, am very happy to be contributing no feminine products to the landfills anymore. Goodbye tampons. Onto the product itself! At first glance, they are really well made! Very happy with the construction, softness and design on them. I got the bird design. I see no flaws in the stitching at all which is hard to come by these days. Good quality. The material that sits on your body is fleece and the outer design material seems to be some sort of cotton stretch possibly. It is nice and stretchy, snaps are on very well too. I had absolutely no problems with shifting, but I also wear really tight pants so that may have contributed I am not really sure. They do have two snaps for adjustability while attaching them to your underwear. I only used this once so far to test out the first day of wearing my cup incase I had any accidents while out. No leaks so I am not sure about the absorbency or how they hold up in those terms. The only issue I had was they were quite long ( I bought the medium) since I am using them more as a panty liner I will probably buy the size small and use these for what I intended for, the light days. I would assume someone using these as pads and not panty liners would do fine with the medium on regular flow days. Very comfortable against the body, no shifting, great construction....I really have no complaints about these. The prints are lovely, I will purchase my next size in the daisy print!

Amazing! Give them a shot!
These are amazing. I'm 39, and I've used traditional feminine hygiene products my whole life, mainly Tampax pearl. I've always HATED disposable pads, even ultra thin ones. But I reached a point where tampons started to irritate me. I wish I'd found these AGES ago. They don't crinkle, stick to you, make you sweat, or irritate your skin like disposables. I bleed heavily, and these have never leaked or allowed my clothes or underwear to become stained. I don't soak them. Just rinse them well and scrub the top side of the pad against itself with a bit of liquid detergent. I wash them with my clothes and hang them to dry. They come totally clean: no smell, no stains (even the light colored designs), nothing. They are easier to care for than you'd expect, and once you have a stash, you're set. No worries about running out of supplies.

It's so good but considered small. If you're wearing medium-large size, it not suitable for you.

Handy & convenient
It’s easy to wash after use. I like the size & ease of using this product. Does not move around while using.

Funcionan :)
En lo personal, me han funcionado. Las he usado por algunos meses y no he tenido derrames.
