If your looking for a satellite meter for the price these are a bargain my horizon meter is not supported so became useless I needed a replacement fast this meter finds the satellite I’m looking for and dose what it says on the tin easy to use.

Very easy to operate and soon found Astra 28.2 and there is also an option to view channels broadcast on this satellite so overall great piece of kit. After trying it whilst caravanning I also found if the unit has been scanned for channels previously, when you lock onto the signal you can hear a tv program come straight on when means you don’t have to have direct view of the meter and then fine adjust the dish using the signal strength meter. Really easy to setup.

This is a similar looking device to the Satlink WS-6906 but there are some differences. The CENPEK V8 Finder2 does not come with a power supply. Instead you need to use a phone charger with a USB-C connection at the device end. The "manual" is a bit light on detail but the installation process worked straightaway when connecting to the Astra 28 -2E,F.G satellite for UK tv channels. I bought this as a replacement for an old Satlink WS-4906 as that device does not receive HD channels. So far I am pleased with my purchase.

This is a very simple to use Satellite Finder. It can be set up to show the programs on the channels selected. It was very easy to find the right satellite. The one drawback is that the machine is not waterproof so should not be used in the rain.

Sadly I had to return this item. For the lay man, caravanner it was far too complicated to use. I am sure in the hands of an expert it will perform. But for me the instructions were abysmal. The you tube videos were rubbish. There should be a clear warning that this is not an amateur piece of kit. I have also noticed Amazon include way down in the description a warning! Frequently Returned Item! I wonder why?

Product look ok. The screen was scratched. Like someone used before.

Within 5 minutes of opening the packaging I found the satellite I needed on the list displayed (Astra 2) I knew approximately the direction to point the dish and had my satellite dish aligned within seconds showing signal strength and quality, I did a a full channel scan and within a couple of minutes it had found the channels which could then see on the screen with all sorts of info that I don't understand otherwise it's so easy to use.There are several other settings/functions that I don't currenty understand or plan to use but they may be of use.Main point is it works, it's easy to use and it's quick and good value, much better than a traditional signal meter.I noted on some reviews it mentioned scratched screen, the one I got had a protective cover on the screen that had scratches/marks - you peel off the protective cover and the screen is perfect.

Perfect for the job of finding and aligning the correct satellite for freesat tv. Easy operation, with simple instructions.
