Let's You Control Your Retinal Amount
Retinal is an excellent skincare ingredient that does wonders for the skin. Though it's great for the skin, you do need to be careful about how much you use if you tend to spend a fair amount of time outdoors. That's because it can cause photosensitivity for some. This is a great way that allows you to control the amount of retinal you have on your face. You can use it blended in with your other skincare products, or use by itself as part of your skincare regimen. Personally, I've been opting to use this by itself as an additional layer during my application of other skincare products. Generally, I'll use it after my toner, but before my serum. After the serum is fine too. Whatever works best for you. It's a pale yellow brown cream that reminds me of a thicker creamy serum. You don't need much to cover your entire face. Spreads easily and it absorbs quite well. It's actually very easy to use. Unlike some retinal products, it will not tint your skin.Helps to condition the skin and reduce wrinkles. Will help to firm up skin and give you a younger looking appearance. Works very well with other skincare products and is easy to wear under makeup.Good for all skin types. Retinal is also good and helpful for those with problematic skin, so it might actually be quite helpful in that regard. I have mature combination skin and this is an excellent skincare product for both sides of my skin type. Very good for those with normal to dry skin for reducing the appearance of age lines. Just as good for men as it is for women.

My face loves this retinol. My more sensitive neck became red & irritated after the first few uses.
HydroPeptide Retinol Routine Booster, 1% Universal Tri-Retinol Complex Peptide Solution, 1 ozThe “Retinol Routine Booster” (I think of it as a serum), arrived in a sealed, branded box which lists the ingredients. The 1 fl oz / 30 ml glass and plastic bottle looked great but is a lot larger than it needs to be for an ounce of product. Once I unscrewed the top I saw the smaller, inside plastic container. The bottle is substantial but easy to hold in the hand. Maybe refills will be sold? The pump worked well for me, no issues. This yellow-colored, unscented booster/serum is a thinner consistency that allows for easier spreading. It applied a bit tacky for me, even with a light layer, but fully absorbed in about 5 minutes with just the slightest tackiness if I really looked for it.The “1% Tri-Retinol Complex” (retinol, retinyl linoleate, and glyceryl diretinoate) was apparent to me as this booster/serum felt strong on my skin (and my neck was irritated, see below). However, this isn’t just a retinol, there are a lot of other great ingredients (and no “icky” ones): niacinamide, glycerin, Vitamin C, sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid, allantoin, bisabolol, hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid, green tea, and myristooyl pentapetide-16. Since it’s summer I either applied a very light moisturizer after this or none at all. As recommended, I wear SPF 30 every day (in a light moisturizer) on my face and neck.I’ve been using retinol products for years on my face, so I didn’t experience any irritation using this booster/serum every two or three days (with a lighter retinol in between). My face loved this retinol (I have acne-prone, combination skin), and the fine lines around my eye area showed a bit of improvement (!) over the little over two weeks I’ve been using this. However, my neck is more sensitive, and I experienced redness and irritation after a few uses. I’ve taken a week off and will start using this just once a week on my neck.Vegan and Cruelty Free per the brand’s website and the Amazon listing, but not listed on the box or bottle. The box and bottle I received in July 2023 were both marked “EXP 02/2026”. An icon states the product is good for 12 months after opening. Made in the U.S.A.

Retinol Booster
Two days of patch tests with no adverse effects.✔️I’ve been using this in the p.m. for 14 days. Right away,I noticed how hard it is to get the product out. The pump dispenser is really short and it just doesn’t dispense very well. Not something I expect at this price point. I’m used to it now, but I just felt it was worth mentioning. My skin absorbs the product well, and it only takes a few minutes. The directions suggest starting out with using this 2 to 4 times a week, but I haven’t had any adverse reaction using it daily. My skin does feel hydrated, but I haven’t seen a reduction in my fine lines or dark circles yet. I would be surprised to see any real results in only two weeks.Except for really not liking how the bottle and pump are designed, I do like the product that is inside. I will see if long-term use produces any results.

Nope.
This stuff looks like mucus. It dries out and leaves a crust on the skin. It did nothing to make my skin look any better, and it is kind of gross overall. The cost is way too high for what it is. I'd pass on this.

Effective in reducing fine lines
I have been using this almost daily (actually every evening) and have not had a problem with any irritation. I have been using retinol products for several years now and find they work best when used every day.I only need to use a small amount of this cream. It absorbs quickly and is only slightly sticky. I use it at night, so that's not a problem. I have older skin so I'm not expecting miracles, but this does make my skin smoother, make some of the finer lines less visable, and has a brightening effect. I like this and will continue to use it.

BIG bottle for 1oz of product
Both bottles pictured hold 1oz of product. As you can see this product comes in a very big bottle for a tiny bit of product. The bottle is beautiful, however, and I love the product. I’ve been using it for several days now with no ill effects. I have been using a retinol product for a few months though and have built up a tolerance for it. The product is yellow but goes on the skin clear and absorbs quickly! I followed up with a moisturizer and my skin feels great. There is a very faint scent, but I have a pretty good nose. I feel like a lot of people probably won’t be able to smell it at all.I recommend this product, but it is spendy in my opinion. At this time it sells for $99.00 for a one ounce bottles. If this is in your budget, I would give it a try.
