Gordon Ramsay Maze Salad Bowl 25cm White

Quite expensive for a cereal bowl, but probably a good example of getting what you pay for. I bought some cheap supermarket bowls - and after a couple of weeks, two had somehow chipped round the rim and generally felt like what they were. These Royal Doulton bowls somehow make breakfast taste better ! They are very well made, with a high quality glazed finish. The inside is slightly ridged and good to eat out of. The bowls are 7" across and hold a very generous bowl of shreddies. I don't plan to test this but they feel like they would cope with being knocked or caught on a table top.

Well made, value for money, right size, great bowl

These bowls are just what I was looking for, just the right size for pasta, salads or stir fry, or even soup. Many uses without being too big, the colour although it says white, is not a bright white, more of an off white, ivory colour. Which suits me as the rest of my crockery is a similar colour so these bowls blend in well. Good quality too not thin and flimsy so will last.

This is exactly what it looks like from the photographs, a decent white bowl. It's not quite as large as I was hoping, as I really wanted something larger for my bowl of porridge in the mornings. However, that's my fault for not checking the dimensions thoroughly enough, and it is a good quality item that will find other uses.

This is the third plate I buy from this collection. It is both sturdy and stylish. Beautiful color. However, the bowl was not very well packed this time (unlike the previous ones I received).

This extra 4 was to add to our existing service. Our original set were bought from somewhere else but the price for these was very competitive as they don't seem to part of the set if ordered as a 4 place boxset. They're big, really big! For the dinner plates I had to move my crockery to a pan drawer as they wouldn't fit into the cupboard they were in. Something to check if you are investing in a full set. The curve on the side is nice and broad allowing for all of those sloppy pasta mistakes to be caught. One thing to watch with these is that the size doesn't creep up your portion size. If you've been used to other smaller pasta bowls these will make your 75g standard pasta portion look lonely. They're pretty robust, having 2 small children who have knocked and banged these around. No matter how hard they thunk against the edge of a worktop with small hands, we haven't managed to chip one yet! Dishwasher wise they've fared incredibly well over the last year. I've also frozen, microwaved, and kept hot in the oven and they've done remarkably. Definitely recommend!

Stunning plate! It really is. This is high end and perfect to grace the dinner table. Looks very expensive and lovely to use. Beautiful blue pattern and very stylish. Luxurious. I use it for pasta dishes. This is not too heavy to hold. Not as heavy as most stoneware out there. Worth every penny and really good value considering the high quality of the plate.

I was looking for replacement bowls for my standard white bowls and could not find the same ones so I went with these and I actually like them better! The size is good for a healthy portion and easy to handle, smaller than the bigger bowls so not as fiddly. They run through the dishwasher just fine. Nice bowls and I may order more.
