A Newer Safer Alternative To Acetylene This regulator will allow you to use your existing Torch with MAPP GAS , Direct replacement for Acetylene regulator simply screw your flashback / hose straight to the regulator and away you go. This is aimed at the smaller kits (type 5 , jewels sets etc) Fitted with the standard 3/8" bsp Left handed thread. Not huge commercial setups There are Many advantages to switching to this fuel 1: Cost disposable mapp cylinders are only around 12 quid a time. 2: Weight these are much lighter to carry around! 3: Available almost anywhere at DIY stores all over the country 4: Safety Mapp gas is far more stable and safe to use than Acetylene 5: Temperature still more than hot enough to braze cut , even weld Note: Flashback valves and check valves should ALWAYS be used on any application that uses Fuel & Oxygen, We can supply both should your setup require them.
