No just a regular outlet. It have the type of wire with a usb at the end, so you’ll need a charging cube for it

I do believe it will trim a yew, as long as the part you are trimming is not too big around and is not old and tough! Wendy

Will this trim climbing fig?

No. I tried it on my climbing fig tree and it would not cut the branches. It works very well on grass edgings.
