Actuator did not work first day installed
We bought the home plow 24000 and everything that goes with it. Once attached the fob key worked and it raised once. Later we tried to raise it again and it would not raise. The actuator part number 22887 would chatter. The actuator itself cost over 1000.

8 Maryland winters , more than a toy
I hate to do this, Iโm missing bolts, canโt find serial number to register plow ? But Amazon gave me a partial refund, and it is pretty sturdy for the money. update Used it today and I must say does a great job on my explorer sport Trac. I bought this in 2018 , eight years use and still working great . I do two parking lots and a couple driveways . The remote is a little whimpy , Iโm on my second one . Zero issues w plow or actuator .

this is not the 24000 model it is the 23250 model
very poor customer service from manufacturer. I had an issue with having to press the down button 10-12 times to get plow all the way down. I took to authorized dealer. they verified my complaint but even after contacting meyer products they couldn't resolve the issue. I called meyer and was told it is a common problem and there is nothing they can do. one of the electricians at my work looked at the plow and discovered the antenna wire inside the receiver was laying across the circuit board causing signal interference. we drilled a hole in the case and ran the wire through. works good now but for what I paid I shouldn't have to correct manufacturing defects

I had a problem
BUT, customer service was nice to deal with, though it did take some time to get it all worked out. I am thinking the plow is made for a paved driveway and mine is dirt and not real flat in places so it is taking me a while to figure how to get it plowed without leaving piles of snow behind

Poorly constructed
Good plow if you just have a 5 foot driveway in 1 inch or less of snow. Do not waste your money on this plow, it is poorly constructed and will split in half within a week of use.

Seems to work very good, took about 4 hours to put together
Put this on my 2002 Chevy Blazer. Seems to work very good, took about 4 hours to put together. I can clear my 250 foot driveway in about 15 minutes, now my biggest concern plowing is that I don't spill my coffee. One concern I do have is the drive motor ratchets when you lift it too high, hope this does not harm it.

Two Stars
When angled it doesn't stay balanced. Hardware was missing or damaged. Holes incorrectly drilled

If you are not a handyman/handywoman think twice before purchase.
I purchase Home Plow model #23150. 1. It is much smaller as you see in advertisement. 2. Yes, will do only driveway. It is NOT GOOD for long big snow removal. 3. You will not make a money on this (snow removal jobs in the neighborhood). 4. Not good instruction. Pictures not clear. In the instruction pictures are made too close from hard to figure out point of view. It is frustration during the assembly. You will go crazy. Be ready:) The picture with parts is great, but there is not hardware labels in the small bag (screws, size, length, quantity - Learn from IKEA haw to do manuals as far hardware). You will think after what to do with those washers left over and not show in instruction. 5. No rubber edge. Big, big Minus! After first snow push I realize haw rubber edge is needed. It is negligent from manufacture side, because we are home owners, not a pro snow pusher and we just do not know stuff works in the beginning. This product is directed to the Home owners and is not properly explained in the advertisement. It will cost the money and time to modify it. The rubber edge is absolutely necessary. Now I just do not understand why the manufacture is sell with out it? I am kidding:) . They selling the rubber edge for extra $300 or more. 6. Too small holes, too big screw supplied. So you will need to run to hardware store. Frustrating when Home Depot is not close around and you have a time only in Sunday to do assembly job. BTW. Single person assembly will be not good idea. 7. It will rust quickly. You need to do pretty good maintenance to keep it in shape. 8. Forget about self angle. It is just not working. One side is self lifting up and snow is not pushed properly. The same when you lack angle with pin. 9. No safety stop/switch in electric engine. If you not careful you will burn this small electric motor during plow lowering or lifting. 10. It is impossible to attach a plow by one person as shown in instruction. The plow is heavy. Who is this guy on picture? (Page 27) Arnold Schwarzenegger? The attachment/reverse under the car will never be in lever for essay push in connection. You will need to think about it and do some more thinking, work, spend additional money to do it. I did it for extra $120 and 4 hours of my time. 11. The reverse/attachment for 2013 F150 is not properly advertised. I had to totally removed under bumper weather strip and now I have to think haw to protect a car. Well. Somehow thinks looks good on pictures. The real life is different. The snow job on my driveway will be done, now I am stuck with it. Return? It will be a job to pack this back:) . Good news is: my garden and curb destroyer lost a businesses with me. I am doing it now by myself, but I am "handyman" person. If you are not, think twice before you buy it. Do not by manual version - Never!!! - It will "kill" you during first snow removal. I am sorry for some grammatical mistakes. English is my third language. Good luck!!
