I had bad luck...
My first impressions of this printer were very good. The spool holder took longer to assemble than the actual printer and the instructions were well-written and easy to follow. The printer itself is very sturdy and feels well made. At first, I had lots of problems with bed adhesion. The lack of a heated bed posed a bigger issue than I expected, and I ended up having to coat the print surface in a thick layer of glue (even after having calibrated the nozzle meticulously). Once that was resolved, I finally managed to get a good first layer. Then, about half way in, an error message popped up; an issue with the Y-motor carriage. I did all the standard troubleshooting, made sure to connection was secure, tried different files and settings, to no avail. The reason I've not given this printer a 1-star rating is because this doesn't seem to be a common issue and I just seem to have been extraordinarily unlucky. This printer has a lot going for it: linear rails, easy assembly, outstanding value. But, I can't help but feel like there are better options out there for the price. I didn't realise how much I'd miss having a heated bed, and the print volume is smaller than many other printers in the price range. There's a reason the Creality Ender printers and the Prusa MK3 printers are so heavily recommended, they're just the best. Plain and simple. It's just a shame that I seem to have recieved a faulty unit.

Excellent 3d Printer ( The very best for a beginner )
I cant say enough good things about this printer. First of all its extremely compact, easily fitting on a short shelf or at the edge of a desk, and it comes for the most part pre assembled, requiring only minor fastening of screws and attaching of cables. Set up shouldnt take more than 40 mins, or 20 once you ve done it a few times. Which is my second point, I have disassembled and reassembled this printer 2 times, both times it travelled with me on an airplane, and the printing quality was not affected whatsoever, so you can trust in that this is a solid printer made to last. Printing quality itself is superb, especially for the price. In my proffensial environment I operate a 2500 dollar FDM printer, that supposedly cost that much because it needed no tuning, yet this machine I bought for my self runs laps around it, and with 0 tuning as well. The slicing software that comes with it is also exceptional, especially for a beginner, as for the most part you just insert your STL files, autoposition, and press print, without the need to mess with a million different settings ( like you need to with Cura or Slice3D). The supports are extremely easy to remove, and leave no marks behind. The printing bed is also a great feature of this printer. None of the typical glass bed nonsense, that require heated pads, glue, blue tape and praying to god to stick to. Its made of hard metal with some short of abbrasive texturing done on top, and in my cold room I have gotten 100% adhesion. The bed leveling is also extremely easy, you do it through the slicing software using a piece of paper, and once done you do not need to fiddle with knobs or whatever else again. Noise wise, while definately audible, I for one do not mind it, and can easily sleep with the printer printing right beside my bed on my desk. The only real drawback I can think of when compared to other printers is that it requires a connection to a PC to operate as it has no onboard user interface. This can be done either via a usb connection or over wifi, though I have not been able to make the wifi connection to work even after trying. All in all, this printer is honestly amazing, especially for the mid price range. If you are a beginner with 3D printing save yourself the hustle and pain of tinkering for days or weeks with the cheapo ender 3 ripp offs you find here, and go for something that will work perfectly straight out of the box, like this.

Good little printer
My second printer I wanted to have just as a backup but it works better than expected and even with closed proprietary system it works pretty well and can go pretty fast. No heated bed tho and I don't know how long will it's coating last so that might be an issue at some point and it's also fairly loud in comparison to my other printer but it's small enough to be put in the cupboard and I'm also printing at maximum speeds so your experience might vary.Would I buy it again if it broke? Maybe it's been on the market for quite a while now and maybe could have bit more features but you can get it same day delivery or atleast where I live I could so that is a plus in comparison to something like prusa mini which I would buy over this any day of the week if I could get it within a week but wait right now is like 4 months so cetus3d it is.Pretty much hastle free printer just make sure everything is straight or 90 degree when assembled, level the bed and you should have 0 issues.

Poor set up instructions and very poor Filament
The setup instructions leave a lot to be desired and some parts are not even mentioned. You're just left to work it out for your self. Print quality wasn't what I expected and I was used to poor printing as I had just upgraded from a Da Vinci. The Reel holder is a joke everyone seems to make their own. The sample Filament was just in pieces in the sealed bags, of no use whatsoever and if this is an example of the tiertime Filament then I won't be buying that.I will keep working with the Cetus, but it may be worth getting the upgrade, but this does make the printer very expensive.Disaapointed

It works
This is not the first 3d printer I've ever bought, it is the first one that works. It has it's idiosyncracies that you ahve to get used to, but it is doing the job I bought it for.
