The Eminem Show is the fourth studio album by American rapper Eminem, released on May 28, 2002 by Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. It was the best-selling album of 2002 in the United States, with sales of 7.6 million copies.[1] At the 2003 Grammy Awards it was nominated for Album of the Year and became Eminem's third LP in four years to win the award for Best Rap Album. On March 7, 2011, the album was certified ten-times-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, [2] making it Eminem's second album to receive a Diamond certification in the United States. Since it's release in 2002, the album sold 10, 500, 000 copies in the United States and more than 23 million copies worldwide. The Eminem Show is a reflective album, featuring Eminem's more personal and serious side. This change gives the album a lighter tone, a departure from his previous albums. One of the most noticeable changes is the generally lighter lyrical content. There’s humour, anger, cleverness, and the odd moment where you nod along thinking, yes, this is still better than I remembered. The production holds up well, the tracks flow nicely, and even now it feels less like a collection of songs and more like a deliberate statement — albeit one delivered at volume. Not exactly background music, unless your background involves dramatic internal monologues. Still a strong album, still enjoyable, and still capable of hijacking an afternoon. Rap god

Eminem is the best rapper. This is my first rap record and...
Before now I've been a fan of metal and rock and still don't know what an MC is. My favourite band is Marilyn Manson and I was proud never to have had a hip-hop CD in my house but this is amazing. Mabye it's because he's a white rapper? I love the tracks White America, Cleaning Out My Closet, Superman and Sing For The Moment. Also like rappers you see today like this 50 pence s h i t and Snoop Dog he raps about actual important things not just Pimps and Gangsta's and can write a sad song well. Anyone's hip hop collection is not complete without some Eminem. I will definetly be putting his greatest hits album Curtains Close on my Christmas list.

Vinyl plays perfectly
Ordered this before seeing the other reviews and started to panic, fortunately I was wrong to. Whilst there is a very slight crease on the sleeve and very minor marks on the records, both disks played perfectly with no skipping or noise. No warping either. Very pleased with it, they might have gotten through the bad batch referenced in other reviews.

L'ho comprato perchè è uno dei miei album preferiti e non me ne sono pentita! È fatto bene perchè insieme al CD c'è il libretto con tutte le canzoni e i testi e dentro ci sono anche delle foto di eminem in studio mentre creava i vari brani. Purtroppo mi si è rotta una cosa che faceva aprire il CD essendomi caduto da un ripiano alto però nilla che non si possa riparare ovvio! Probabilmente comprerò anche altri album!!
