Picked this up to extend a Cat6 run as part of our 2Gbps fiber upgrade. The aluminum housing is premium quality and the connection has been completely solid. We initially suspected this coupler when our NAS started showing frequent disconnects, but after troubleshooting it turned out to be a faulty eero Pro 7 unit — not this extender at all. Once the eero was replaced, the dropouts went away entirely, with this coupler still in the path. It’s currently installed as part of a run that let us relocate our router to the landing, and it’s been working flawlessly since. No signal issues on a multi-gig connection, good build quality, does exactly what it’s supposed to. 5/5 — reliable extender, glad we cleared its name.

Super fast, fits perfect and also totally saved my life when my own ethernet cable wasn't long enough to connect to my PC. It made the perfect daisy-chain connector. Super fast, seems very solidly made, and an incredible value.

This worked great. I screwed up when installing Ethernet cable in my house and left an area too short. Instead of having to run a new cable I used this extender to make it long enough to get to my router. It was very simple to use and a way cheaper option the. Running new cable. It was also nice that I did not have any decrease in internet speed from having to use it.

This worked great to help us extend our Ethernet cable from our new Cox modem so we could add a longer Ethernet cable to move our router to the top of the stairs more central to our house. It worked now our TV gets a stronger wifi signal strength!

These are extremely well-made and do not slow, may even accelerate website responsiveness between Ethernet cables between modem and Ethernet adapter/ laptop. It's sensitive to orientation - point its UGREEN name in the direction of traffic flow to work.

Bought in March 2024 to connect two CAT6 cables running to my room, it delivered full Gigabit speeds for over a year. However, the speed recently dropped to 100 Mbps. After troubleshooting the cables, I swapped out the coupler for a new one, and the speed returned to Gigabit. Now, let's see if this second one lasts longer.

I bought this to help extend my ethernet cable for my new router system that I purchased. It worked flawlessly. The connection was solid and I have no issues.

I used this to join two long cat6 cables together because I didn't want to run a whole new cable. I was worried I wouldn't get full speed, but I do get full 10gbe speeds over them without issue. Seem high quality, and at least these are slightly more name-brand than other version of these out there.

Excellent petit raccord de câbles Ethernets. Il fait la jonction entre deux câbles ethernet à embout mâle. Pratique lorsque l'on a des câbles à allonger, avec un produit de qualité (en fer) et qui permet de ne pas perdre en débit. J'ai réalisé la prolongation de câbles dans ma véranda, avec d'importantes variations hygrométriques et thermiques, et la jonction ne souffre d'aucun défaut. Je recommande vivement ce raccord.

I was sceptical of this as in the past, every time I’ve tried to join a network cable, there has been a loss of speed or stability – leave it to UGreen to solve this and make a product that performs perfectly. Testing over a long run, it was able to maintain a solid 10Gbps with no loss of signal or speed. This is a must have for anyone who does networking and a great way to add that little bit extra to a cable without needing to re-run it.
