Food for thought! A beautifully presented book - I love the practical advice and the down to earth nature of the book that lets the reader envision exactly how they want their garden to look - Designing a Japanese garden can be a large expense so you want to get it right or as near as you can first time - My outlook on my garden now has expanded to take on different aspects of the layout I want, and the pictures show the possibilities in a reasonable amount of space. Would recommend this book to others

For the budding Japanese gardener or Niwa or the perfect Zen moment of creating the garden in your mind while reading ,this is a lovely book full of good ideas and good photographs. Recomended.

Good book, but delivery man left it out in the rain, so was wet and warped on opening.

Gift for husband who is delighted with it. Lots of practical advice and projects which are do-able. Beautiful photis make this a pkeasure to read.

Great ideas and photos,You may get some fresh ideas but very helpful if you are looking to create your own Japanese garden.
