Ultimate Mounts UM104M Black Fixed Strong Wall Mount Bracket up to 60 inch Plasma/LCD/LED TV Screens

Bracket arrived promptly, in a relatively small thin package.Upon examination, I (as an engineer) was pleasantly surprised that the metal was of a good thickness, and very straight and strong looking with a good matt black painted finish.I roughly assembled the main frame (4 pieces and 8 screws), and it felt a really rigid bracket.The assembly and fitting instructions were thorough and easy to follow (albeit in quite small print). The various screws, washers and optional fittings were nicely packaged and separated in bubble type bags which were heat welded together. In other words, you just roll out the lot in a strip and you can then easily open the correct bag for the required fittings.There are lots of different fittings and fasteners for various requirements which I thought was a very comprehensive assortment.I fixed the frame to the wall using the large screws provided. The description states that this bracket is suitable for TV's up to 60 Kg's in weight (and they are not kidding!).Obviously it is up to the user to mount on a suitable wall, but it looked and felt really rigid and strong.The 2 vertical channel bars are screwed to the back of the TV, and the whole thing is hooked over the top edge of the wall bracket.The TV can be swung out a few inches at the bottom for connecting cables etc, but when satisfied with the positioning you must tighten the 2 security bolts to clamp onto the bottom rail of the wall bracket.The end result is a very nice looking strong TV mount that holds the TV close to the wall which looks very neat.I mounted a 46" LED TV on this and I am so impressed with it.Design, quality of materials and finish along with good instructions and a good assortment of fittings make this an excellent purchase for the price.Just one small issue, the bracket comes with a small spirit level screwed into one of the horizontal rails and I cannot see the point of this, as in my opinion it is next to useless. I removed it and used a long spirit level of my own to level the bracket when fitting (much more accurate!).A very good buy indeed!

Very good bracket. Strong. Good quality and fairly simple to put up. Delivery in good time. However it loses 2 stars, the level is not accurate at all and wasted time! I put up the bracket looking at the little level attached to the bracket. The TV went up and I noticed it was bent! Got a proper level to check and it was clearly out of line. Had to start again! More holes to drill etc. which was frustrating! All good now though!

Brilliant and very strong. I used this for one of the old Samsung TVs (the early editions) that weight a LOT! Very impressed and comes with a host of bolts etc to suit your TV.

Great mount. It is the only one I could find which would fit easily between 2 joists in the house (Which were spaced quite far apart). The only negative was that the spirit level was way off on it, but luckily I had a different spirit level which I used.

The spirit level that is built in is off. Measured up against a further 2 levels it was definitely off. Solid build tho and feels safe up.

This is a really good mount at a great price. My tv is relatively old and heavy (Sony KDL46X3500) but it holds it solidly against the wall and away from my children! Absolutely recommended.

great heavy duty tv bracket, used it on a 60 inch plasma and is really solid and easy to put together
