Zinsser Wallpaper Cover Up 2.5 Litre White Matt Finish | All In One Primer, Sealer and Stain Block

I had to cover a slightly textured wallpaper and research advised using this to seal/ prime etc. It really does have a strong smell like gloss paint so you need lots of ventilation and appropriate full mask/goggles as the fumes are dangerous. I applied one fairly thick even coat. It covered the paper patern well and the texture is hardly visible. A more textured wall.paper may need more coats but it wouldn't hide /fill ridged styles. I'm pleased with the result. You need white spirit if you want to save your brushes and dispose of left overs roller/ tray as directed.

One coat covered all, brilliant product.

Used this in the bathroom and it did a great job. Little expensive, but it covers well and you would probably end up using twice as much normal paint to do the same job.

This was brilliant for covering vinal sticky backed wall paper in a kids bedroom. Removing the vinal was going to involve replastering so went for this option and so glad I did! It's ready for the coats of colour now but this was done in around 5 hours, two coats with time to dry between. It does smell but with windows open, the smell has stayed in that room only and seems to get less strong as it dries.

I’d had some wallpaper put up by a professional but had gone off the print. The wallpaper had been applied really well so I was reluctant to scrape off and spend time on that then putting up lining paper too. This paint is a great solution. Covered the pattern well (note this is not for embossed papers just flat), painted new colour over top and it’s perfect.

The smell was awful and the consistency like a mixture of glue and gloss paint, it did a reasonable job but not great

Used this before it's a great cover up and stain block it's expensive but worth every penny.

I think it is the best out there but may cause blistering if the wallpaper is not glued very well so be careful.
