Rock Solid (A book Boyfriend Novel 4) by Erika Wild and Carly Phillips has cinnamon roll hero with a heart of gold. The heroine is all locked up behind thick walls to protect her heart from more hurt. From a child she only knew rejection which carried through to her adult years. Conner and Katie met the 2nd time so Katie could tell him he was a father to a little girl named Valentine. Their love story is epic with lots of tears and insecurities to be overcome so love could reign and their HEA come into reality! Absolutely a wonderful read!

A stand alone read with a HEA. I LOVED this story. It was a page turner from the first page to the last. A couple, stranded in a Denver airport because of a storm has a one night stand. That is all they promised each other but it turned out to be more. However, the next morning she was gone and he never saw her again or got her last name. He knew all women would be compared to her. Not being a one night stand kind of guy, he set him up for some pain in the romance department.she discovered that with all the protection they had used one swimmer made its way to the prize. She was pregnant and had no idea how to find him. She had a name but didn't know if it was his first or last name and Chicago is a big city. She had no way to let him know he was going to be a father. Three and a half years later she finds him as the featured item in an article in a real estate magazine. She knows she has to let him know he has a daughter but she is full of doubt as to how it will go and what will happen. She knows that down the line the daughter will find out she knew who he was and how to get in touch with him and if she doesn't there will be problems between the two of them.This story goes through all the doubt and insecurities she is battling from her childhood and what will happen when she tells him and how will be respond. This hero is to die for. OMG he is delicious on all counts. There are a lot of sexy, steamy scenes that will make you drool. He is that good. He is not only gorgeous and delicious he is also a great guy with morals. What a great love story. I loved this book and definitely recommend it. It is a great read. You will cheer for these two and will feel good at the end of the story. Don't pass this one up. It is too good to miss.I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. A wonderful, feel good kind of story. Kudos to Erika and Carly for a fantastic series!

This was a sweet and engaging story. That drew me in from the start, and then held my attention throughout. As there was lots to like and enjoy. Plus there was little in the way of angst and it was quick and easy to read. As for the two main characters Katie and Connor. They were both likable and shared a spark. Which then led to a few hot moments. Yet the real star of this book for me was an adorable three year old called Val. Who stole every scene she was in and added so much to the overall story. Which I would happily recommend to others. Especially to anyone who is a fan of these two authors.**I was kindly provided with an ARC in exchange for an honest review**

Sweet and naughty is an apt description in my mind. The dynamic combo of Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde continue to weave stories together that hit you right in the heart for sweetness, and reaching for a fan to cool off because, well, the naughty parts are really hot. Connor and Katie's story is a perfect balance of sweet and naughty, while at the core, building a solid foundation of love. Definitely a must read.I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book and review is personal opinion only. PS. I loved it so much, bought the published edition as well.

Endlich der vierte Teil der Book Boyfriend Serie! Die ersten 3 waren schon sehr gut. Aber dieses ist sogar noch besser.Ich liebe Geschichten mit einem tollen, treuen heißen Mann der nicht jeder Frau hinterher läuft. Connor Prescott ist genau das. Er hat vor 3 Jahren und sieben Monaten seine Valentine Katie getroffen und mit der Unbekannten eine heiße Nacht verbracht. Leider hat er sie danach nicht mehr wieder gesehen. Eine tolle Geschichte über eine zweite Chance! Unerwartet, geheimnisvoll, spannend, heiß und liebevoll!
