There are a bunch of these types of laptop stands and I’m actually not using it for that purpose (using it to place an extra keyboard and mini monitor on it) but aside from it being super sturdy, I like the design on the bottom arms which curve, enabling you to place and access other equipment below it. Most of the other products have a straight arm which gets in the way. The sturdiness is excellent with no noticeable wobble. The tension is extremely tight and you need to put some strength in it to adjust. It’s tough, but any adult can easily adjust the angles. With the two adjustable points, you can get the desired height and slant desired. Super versatile. No assembly required and super light. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something like this.

I've been looking for a good, sturdy, and stable laptop stand for a while now. I found this one through some website which wrote that this was the cheapest sturdiest laptop stand out there. Now, of course there are cheaper laptop stands out there, but usually they're not adjustable, OR ever if you van adjust the height, all the reviews talk about how the stand falls back down once you set your laptop on it. This is not the case here. the extra $10 that I spent on this stand was so worth it! Immediately after taking the stand out of the box, you can sense that it is heavy - in a good way! Once I put it down on my desk and adjusted the height it proved its case. The stand is not overly heavy (you could put it in your backpack and take it to work), but its weight is a sign of its sturdiness. I type aggressively on my keyboard but the laptop stand barely flinches, and does so just as much as my desk (that is, the stand doesn't add wobble, only reflects the wobble of the surface it is on). Yes, it is a bit difficult at first to adjust the height - but that is good! You don't want your laptop to slowly slide down as you work because it is "easy" to adjust. This makes it very sturdy and stable, and the two "arms" that raise the height make sure that the top of the stand doesn't wiggle side to side (as opposed to cheaper stands with only one adjusting arm). TLDR: Little to no wobble, stable on surfaces. Invest the $10 more in this stand. It's worth it!

My sis had this laptop stand and I liked it so I bought it. It is hard to sort through good from bad on the internet and I am very happy to say this is a great holder. I ordered a laptop stand for work and I liked it so much I got one for myself and my husband ( he saw this and thought it was great too ) for our home offices. Like so many these days we are working a lot from home and at an office. It makes having a nice setup that is usable and ergo friendly hard when you do not wanna drop tons of money. I am Very pleased with how sturdy it is and the way it is made. The way it holds the laptop and the screen is so pleasant and comfortable. It was unexpected how much nicer it is. I had my laptop elevated on a box and a book to make it a comfortable height, but now it looks so much better on the stand. I also love that the keyboard fits under there creating more desk space. I do like that you can make tiny adjustments in height and in the tilt to get it just right. Just know that it does not move easily. I like that, I was concerned that it would not hold in place and my laptop might be injured, I no longer have that concern. Solidly built and constructed to avoid that issue. This was a purchase I would make again and again.

This is a much cheaper copy (at least from what I can gather) of the AVLT power stand whose review I put below. I wanted a second one to keep at home because one doesn't want to close and unfurl this thing every day and carry to/from work or coffee shop. If you leave it open it will bang into doors, if you close it then you will inevitably pinch fingers or potentially wear our the hinges (besides taking effort). Note: it also makes a good reading stand for even large books, great for studying if you have a textbook you want propped up. The only issue worth pointing out is that on this model, you trade 50% of the original purchase price for a lower quality bead blasting on the aluminum that doesn't match mac computers as well. It's that shinier anodizing you see on less expensive aluminum accessories that isn't as matte or soft as the mac type finer finish. Still though, if this is for work, get this one unless you are so OCD that the difference will bother you. That this is the second of these stands I have bought should indicate something (the other the AVLT power before this clone was on offer). Review of the unit this one copies: This laptop stand accomplished several things I was after. It's sturdy enough for heavier laptops, adjustable enough to get any position I was after, and matches the mac aesthetic without ugly branding or cheap plastic components. The carry handle is welcomed. If there are drawbacks, they are the price and that necessarily, the hinges are hard enough to move that you don't want to collapse to carry elsewhere all the time. Finger pinching while adjusting may happen if you aren't careful while collapsing. Otherwise great stand with no significant complaints.

I love this stand. I use this with a 15” Mac Book Air when I am working at my desk and using a second monitor. It looks nice, is sturdy, and adjusts to the correct height so my screens line up nicely.

I purchased this laptop stand for my 17" ASUS laptop that weighs about 3 kg, and had minor concerns that my laptop would weigh too much for this to remain stable. I had no cause for concern. This stand is incredibly sturdy and feels well made from solid aluminum as described. It is able to comfortably hold my laptop even with use of the laptop's keyboard (adding the weight of my hands) with virtually no flex, and can be put at varying heights. Even pushing down on it as a test I can say this would quite easily work for heavier laptops than mine. Although not a complaint of the product, adjusting the height can take a bit of effort due to how sturdy it is. A great product overall!
