Rice is generally gluten-free and there is nothing to suggest on the package that it has been mixed or processed with other products that contain gluten

I have not used Tilda as it so expensive. However, for me this rice had long grains which separated easily after cooking which is what I look for in a basmati rice.

There is usually an expiry date printed on the packet. Having said that, if you keep your rice in dry conditions away from any moisture, white rice can have up to 2yrs shelf life. If you can't remember how long you've had it, just check for mould, damp or bugs before use
