This card holder works pretty good. My keycard hasn’t fallen out after 2 weeks. It’s on my key chain so it’s always in and out of my pocket.I’d buy again if I ever need one.

This is small and durable. I liked it so much. I bought one for coworkers they loved it. Also, I would definitely recommend for a hospital setting.

So I've been using this for a couple weeks now for my US Government CAC card, the ones you have to plug into the machine to login with. I attached this to a retractable lanyard and that way I don't forget to take the card with me when I get up to leave. Great for security purposes! It held the card firmly and never got loose. I added a few layers of clear tape to the CAC card so that the grip was even tighter and it seemed to help as previously it would begin sliding out after a day or two requiring me to push it back in. My biggest complaint is that the clear card holder blocks the Barcode on the back, which is needed in my facility, requiring me to remove the card in order for the scan to actually work. In my situation, this issue kind of makes the whole point of the card somewhat cumbersome as having to constantly remove and replace the card into the vertical half card badge holder will only weaken the grip over time and damage the card. Overall, it does do its job, holds the card firmly, made even better by the tape. But if you need to use a barcode on the rear, this will block it and make it unreadable.

Great quality and design. It is able to withstand the rigors and abuse I put it through as a hydroelectric mechanic and have not once had a card drop out. The amazing part is that it can do all this without a ridiculously tight fitment. Very well done!

It had a really tight grip. Your badge won’t budge. I use my CAC card on a daily basis and it doesn’t come out when I yank it out of the key board def worth the money.

The holder is stylish and holds the card well, I like the clear color. However, if I fully seat the card into the holder, my CAC reader integrated into my laptop won't pick up on it.I addressed this by inserting the card into the laptop, THEN applying the holder over the card. This left an 1/8" gap at the top, but means I can't manually set it on its own.

I rated this a 4 star only because I need to slide my smart card into card reader on the side of a laptop at work and this badge holder is just a little too big. The card reader in the laptop requires my badge to be inserted more than the badge holder would allow. My quick fix was to get one of those clear tabs you put on file hanging folders for labeling. I would cut those tabs to size and then insert the end of the badge into the clear tab. Then both pieces together would be installed into the badge holder at the required distance such that the card reader in the laptop would recognize the card when inserted into the laptop. Not only does this engage the card reader, this slight fix also secures my card from falling out of the badge holder. Otherwise, this badge holder works fine for inserting to keyboards for a desktop computer.

When you get this in the mail you think to yourself "This is all?" because its a pathetically tiny piece of plastic. That being said, however, it seems to work quite well. It holds onto my ID and is very convenient to not have to remove the ID from the holder to slide it into the computer I work with. It hangs on my key holder and my ID hasn't fallen out of it yet. My co-workers actually want me to order a couple for them. It seems worth the price assuming it has decent longevity.
