Is this plastic on the lid BPA free ?

I'm not sure, but I have had two of these and both times the cord came apart at the plug. Within 2 months of use.

Aprox. 12 Watts or one amp at 12vdc. Most 12 volt receptacles in cars will supply 15 amps or 180 watts.

is this spill proof ? doe sit have a slide/lock-in lid ? also can I plug this in my car or into my laptop/desktop ?

Definitely spill resistant. Very good at not spiliing. Plug it into your car it works great. Your laptop/desktop will not have enough power. If you buy an AC adapter make sure output is at least 1 amp. I bought a 500 milliamp (.5 amp) and it wasn't enough power.

Is the inside mug also stainless steel

The inside is stainless too and the mug is one of the best things I have ever purchased.
