This is a fantastic frame and it is incredibly priced! It assembles easily if you follow the written instructions; they are easy to read and you can tell they haven't been translated from another language, so proper English is used throughout. All pieces are marked with a letter or number, even each screw. At the actual first glance, one might feel overwhelmed but when you look closer, it is apparent how well written and how well planned the assembly process is. I get overwhelmed easily when there are a lot of pieces or parts, but not this time. For this order, I did not purchase the futon because I already own one. It's easiest to have two people work on this but one can do it just fine. Nothing is heavy, but a 2nd person is helpful when positioning some of the longer boards. The wood is very high quality and stained well. Those boys at Kodiak in Georgia sure do know how to manufacture a product that is sturdy, proudly made in America...and that looks great! My 8" thick futon fit right on this frame without any trouble at all. There is enough room between seat and back so that it curves upward and isn't inclined to slip that way. It's really, really comfortable as a 2nd sofa and as a bed it is super comfy to sleep on. All of the materials included are well made and you can tell that the hardware is not some pot metal weak stuff that breaks. The real deal. I know I sound like a Kodiak sponsor but I am not. I am just incredibly impressed with this company and will order more from them. (I would be if they asked me to though, because they are that good at what they do). So, in the words of my investment advisor..."Pull the trigger on this buy!" :-D

Well made construction, solid wood build, easy instructions, organized materials at a reasonable price. No complaints.

It took a little while to put it together. I was doing it solo but all in all good directions and quality wood.

It could’ve been less expensive, not because of the quality of the product. But because of the amount of pcs they send to put together. The directions aren’t for the novice either. Also, it sits very low to the ground after assembly. Make sure you buy a good mattress as well

The wood is weak it strep wild put it together the back panel strep it too low the foam mattress too too soft you can feel the wood under it lose

Great Futon – Comfortable, Convenient, and Stylish! The futon arrived in just a few days and was incredibly easy to set up. I purchased it for my office to serve as both extra seating and a guest bed, and it’s been perfect for both! It’s very comfortable to relax or sleep on, and it folds up and down with ease. Full-size bedding fits it perfectly, which is a huge plus. I would absolutely recommend this futon to anyone looking for a versatile and stylish piece of furniture for their home or office.

This futon frame is a hunk of cr@p!! The screws don’t stay screwed in to the bottom seat even when fully tightened. Looks nice but is super heavy. Was a nightmare to put together. Waiting for one more piece or part to fall off and then I’m throwing this thing away. Good concept product made poorly. I do not recommend!

I would not have purchased this if I knew then what I know now. 1.. It is very difficult to put together. Almost all the furniture I buy has to be assembled. The directions on this were not very clear, and it took hours. I was doing it by myself, which made it even more difficult. 2. Once you have it put together, it is neither comfortable as a couch (because it is inches off the floor) or comfortable as a bed (because the structure is lumpy). 3. It is not stable. When you have it up as a couch, when you sit on it, it’s semi rocks when you initially make contact additionally, the angles at which you can set it are really only comfortable for teenagers. 4. In order to return it, they insist that you fit it back into the same box (which would be impossible) and pay to have it shipped to them. 5. It would scratched upon arrival. 6. Thanks carefully before you decide to buy it. If you are a futon person in all forms, you may like it. In that case, the frame’s wood and finish is attractive.
