Teva Men's Terra Fi 5 Universal Sport Sandal

These are the best Teva's, I purchase almost every year. The best fit and cushioning, comfortable right out of the box. Arch support, great, straps adjustable and comfortable. My only disappointment, as I wear them daily and do get them wet a lot, streams and other water use, they seem to only last a season. Maybe 2. LOVE them, but they run $99, and the old Tevas used to last for many years. These tend to become unglued fairly quickly.

My sandals arrived a couple of days ago. I ordered a size 10 because I measured according to the size chart, even though I usually order a women's size 9 for footwear. My foot measured 10 inches, so I got a size 10 as recommended and they fit perfectly. I wore them doing errands in town for the rest of the day, and they were really comfortable. I haven't had a chance to wear them hiking yet, but we are planning an all day hike tomorrow, so we'll see how they do for that. My biggest complaint is that they wouldn't send them to my Post Office Box. So I had to had to have them shipped to my residence address, which isn't a mailing address. Amazon shipped them USPS, instead of UPS or FedEx, so I had to do some detective work at 2 different Post Offices in town to collect them when they arrived. I live in Alaska, and probably half our rural population has Post Office Boxes because there is no mail delivery to our homes. Wise up Teva and allow shipping to Post Office Boxes.

This is my third pair of the Terra sandals. They wear very well, very comfortable, and I choose them for the traction. It used to be Vibram rubber but has evolved to Spider rubber, which has similar traction even though I trusted the Vibram more, but that is probably just me. I got these to have a "nice" pair to wear in public, but the last ones are still going strong, I just beat on them and they don't look great. One thing about the purchase, and I contacted the seller- they showed up as a women's size in my Amazon cart. But I ordered and they came in as a men's 12 as hoped. Hopefully it'll get updated in the system. The seller was very good to communicate with.

Women’s Size 8 fit true to size. Love the sandals. Very heavy duty, rugged and durable. The neoprene straps on front by the toes and behind the heel is next to the skin so the straps aren’t scratchy or irritating. I like the larger straps instead of a lot of little straps. Every strap adjustable. Love the pattern and color. Comfortable foot bed and arch support. Feels custom to my foot. I already owned the Terra Fi Lite sandals for years and loved the blue color but lost them on a trip. Wish they had better blue options.

Thank you, Amazon, for offering these "Like New" discounted sandals. I could not be happier with them! What I like most about these sandals is that this regular width is on the wide side. I normally wear wide size shoes, and these sandals in regular width fit perfectly! I also love the quality of these sandals non-slip deep tread soles along with the comfortable padded adjustable straps. Heartfelt appreciation for offering these "Like New" sandals at a substantial discount!

Shoes did not hold up. They would be okay for light wear. I contacted the company as they should have been covered under warranty. I was told I needed to ship them, pay for shipping, and they could still reject my warranty request. They refused to tell me over email if they would be covered. I would not recommend these shoes or this brand.

I like Tevas, and the Terra Fi 5 has a lot going for it—great arch support and shock absorption, solid tread, and a style that works as well with a skirt as it does with casual or athletic wear. The padding is where it could use improvement. Normally I'm very happy with Teva's styles that offer padding under the straps, and I was expecting something similar to the cushioned neoprene padding on their Hydratek sandals. The Terra Fi padding feels more rigid, though, particularly in the areas around the stitching, and this led to uncomfortable rubbing on my first outing with the sandals. All was not lost—I ended up placing moleskin on the areas of the straps that touch the lower joint of my big toe and the inside of my ankle, and that helped a lot. I'm hopeful that Teva will change the padding with future versions of this sandal, but in the meantime, be advised that you might need to do a little doctoring to make them more comfortable.

I bought these shoes to wear to the YMCA pool and Locker room. They are perfect for the swimming pool, and they double as excellent shower shoes. They have excellent non-skid soles that work well on wet surfaces.
