Swans love it
I’ve been using Extra Select Swan & Duck Food for several months now, and it’s been a great choice for feeding wildfowl at my local lake. The pellets are the perfect size for ducks, swans, and even moorhens—they float well on water, giving the birds time to eat them without sinking straight away. What I really like is that it’s a nutritionally balanced alternative to bread, which is important for the birds’ health. Bread can cause serious health issues in wildfowl, so this is a much safer and more responsible option. The bag is resealable too, which makes it convenient to store and take along for walks.I’ve noticed that the ducks and swans seem to genuinely enjoy it—they often swim straight over when they see the bag. Plus, it’s affordable and lasts quite a while, especially if you’re only feeding occasionally.Pros:• Floats well on water• Nutritionally balanced and safe for wildfowl• Resealable packaging• Attracts a wide range of birdsCons:• Might be too large for very small birds (though easily broken up)A fantastic, bird-friendly option for anyone who enjoys feeding ducks

Gobbled up in seconds
They do float on the water and all the assorted fowl seemed to enjoy them. I'm also happy to know that the ducks etc are getting nutritious food as opposed to potentially harmful dry bread.

Good
Good size tub for the price , I'm guessing the swans & ducks love this judging by the way they eat it 😊, showed the bucket to the person who runs the park and was told the food is good quality for the birds , easy for them to digest .

The real price of feeding the ducks
There is no doubt that it is great duck food and my ducks love it, However a 3ltr pot of duck food sounds alot, but in reality it is only 1.5kg of duck food which is available from Pets at Home for around £4.99 which is only £3.33 per Kilo as oppose to this at £6.52 per kilo, so some what more expensive to feed ducks. take this to the extreme and if you are going to parks and feeding the ducks with your family on a regular basis, buy Copdock Mill Wheat Discs Duck Feed Plain, which provide all the same needs for wild life, and a 15kg bag is £20.49 or £1.37 per kilo. There are also many local farm supply shops, selling the same thing for far less. Just something to think about, while times are hard.Bottom line, it is great duck food, and for that, I give it 4 stars, but expensive, for what it is.

Good product
Ducks and geese loved it good value for money went a long way better if you feed them in the water as quite large and hard
User
Loved by swans, Canada geese, ducks and the odd carp!
Keep a bag of this in the car just in case we go somewhere with swans, ducks and geese!Recently visited a garden centre with a small lake. Not only did the swans and ducks gobble this up, but the large carp also took a fancy. It’s so important not to feed bread to our water fowl - it does so much harm when people think they’re being kind.
