10 x STERILE 5ML LEUR SLIP SYRINGE

These are great syringes at a great price. I know they are meant to be one use only, but I reuse the same one for the same course of treatment, i.e. the same syringe for my daughter's 7-day antibiotic treatment, then I toss it. I rinse and flush it several times with water. I think these are good quality because the black plunger piece is fitted nicely and seems pretty airtight, and it functions smoothly as well. It is also fairly easy for me to hold in one hand as I sometimes have to hold my daughters hands down with my other hand. After my GP advised me that the best way to give my relucutant 13-month old liquid medication was with a syringe by giving little bits at a time, and that it ok if it takes 5 minutes to give her one dose, I gave up struggling with the spoons that come with medicine. If she tries to knock the syringe out of my hand, the meds can't spill out all over. I can also tell how much she has taken, or not taken, if it is taking a while to give one dose, whereas with a spoon, little bits come out as she rejects the spoon with her tongue and it is just a mess. So with these, I just demonstrate how to open her mouth by saying "Ahh.." and squirt a bit into her cheek pocket, watch her swallow it, then go at it again, with little sips of water in between a few. Highly recommend having a batch of these on hand for anyone with a baby.

I bought them to wash my daughter's nose.

I use these to dispense my liquid morphine. Stupidly they don't give you any way of measuring the morhine doses, I did have a measuring spoon but kept dropping small amount of morphine. These are perfect and as others have said they don't come apart so they work well. I reuse them, just suck up some water and squirt it back out. Allows you to reuse them again and again.

These syringes are great for smooth delivery of “critical care” food for rabbits when they are not eating by themselves due to gut stasis. So much better than the type with rubber stopper which do not work for this purpose. I will definitely buy again if problem reoccurs. Fast delivery was ideal for this emergency situation.
