I have a square kitchen table that I have been protecting with a simple table cloth. Unfortunately, the tablecloth kept getting stained and dirty and had to be washed every night. To avoid having to wash table linens nightly, I purchased six more tablecloths (yes, I bought seven). The purchase of more table cloths simply meant I had seven to wash at the end of the week rather than one to wash every night, still impractical.My mother recommended a plastic table cover similar to the one she uses for her round kitchen table. Although an excellent recommendation, the implementation was more challenging; I found numerous oblong, oval, and round covers, but no square covers, until my search finally landed me here!I read many reviews, both negative and positive, but as the price was acceptable, I determined to try the cover myself. I purchased a square one, and I was delighted with the product.The vinyl cover arrived earlier than expected, it was spotlessly clean and in excellent condition, and it fit the kitchen table perfectly.I now cover my lovely albeit simple tablecloths with this vinyl one. When food or drink pollutes this plastic cloth, I simply wipe the offending spot with wet-wipes or a damp cloth (the better option), and it vanishes; for a more thorough cleaning, I use a little dishwashing soap and warm water to clean the entire surface of the vinyl cover, and then I dry it with a paper towel.The cleaning process is quite simple. The product is very useful. The price is very reasonable.HIGHLY recommended.

Definitely a life saver for a kitchen table top with kids. Especially if your table has grooves, this makes it a lot easier to clean. One down side is that it can stain, especially with tomato based products, so just make sure to wipe it off quickly. Microfiber type cloths seem to help keep the plastic looking more clear. Our kids are rough on these, so we go through about one a year—but that’s with 3 VERY busy kids that actively pick at it, so it is pretty good quality.

WE put this on our table to keep the cracks from getting full of food, it did the trick. It was folded and has some creases but over time they have settled and almost disappeared.Unfortunately someone sliced through our table cover and when I went to get a new one the don't sell 70 by 70 anymore. What do you do if you have a large square table? For this reason I removed a star.

Do not buy this one. I pulled it out of the package and it was covered with a film of dirty dust over the entire table cloth. The stitched edge of it was visibly dirty in one spot. I had to scrub it out. It was disgusting. I threw it into my bathtub to wash it down and the water was nasty. Not something I was able to put on my table right away for sure. I was hoping to be able to pull it out, put it on my table and wipe it down but it was way too dirty for that.Also not happy with how the stitched edging looks. It looks very rough.Buyer beware.

I got this for my table and expecting it to be clear looking and smooth but once I got it, it actually had small wrinkles that won’t straighten out it’s not from being folded it’s different small random wrinkles that are all over it. Worse, it had a white powdery substance ALL on it both sides! Didn’t have the time to clean it up so I don’t even know if there’s more to it. Just don’t waste your money on this.

For the price - can’t go wrong. Easy to clean and solid. Can’t expect a fancy look, but it does the trick with three kids! Folds still haven’t come off fully yet and it’s been about a month, but I would recommend.

I finally found a 70x70 cloth cover. Great quality for every day use. I remove it when company comes over. Keeps my fancy table cloth clean.
