Daikin 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC (Copper, PM 2.5 Filter, FTKY50UV, White)

The order was delivered in 5 days and the next day installation team came , although i had to call the Daikin customer care team myself multiple teams to get the installation scheduled and follow-up. A senior and well versed technician from Daikin came along with his fellow teammate. The entire process took 3 hours as lot of drilling was required. They had all adequate tools with them. Gave a small demo also. The AC is working well, it has amazing cooling and is very very silent. The remote has many modes , still learning their functions. Main thing is - it has lot of power modes and 5 variable Fan speed settings. This 1.5Split AC is perfect for my big room. The indoor unit looks good.

Was skeptical to order online as we don’t buy gadgets online . AC is really good ! No wonder it’s one of the best brand !! Great cooling , not that much sound but it’s there. Installation is not free , we had to pay almost 2000 extra . But remote is big disappointment , it doesn’t match with the AC functionality. Also the AC takes time to start. First it will AC blades will open and then closes. So you have to keep on pressing on / off button to understand if the AC is getting ON or Off … No light in ac although small display area is there on the body of the AC or no light in the remote so in dark u can’t see anything. Company like daikin , and remote like this is really unacceptable. Only good is cooling that’s all . Also these days ac even if 1.5 ton , their size has been reduced length decreased , increase in width .

The installation process is indeed super painful. Firstly, the drivers cannot understand the location (It is super convenient, just beside the Metro Station) and they are super reluctant to use Google Map. And later their support team (Daikin) starts to shout on the customer due to such delays, which is actually caused by the driver / technician. Amazon mentioned very clearly (on a recorded line) that there shall be no additional charges during installation apart from 1500 (including GST). I was sure that there should be more charges as I have already checked other reviews, but the lady keep promising and over promising that there should not be any. If they ask for more money, call Amazon Support and we will surely mitigate it for you. They asked for more (Initially 6000+, and later reducted to 4000 when I mentioned that I will call Amazon Support), the support team tried to negotiate and then failed. Later, they say it was a miscommitment from earlier support person and they apologize. So funny. And I ending up paying for the overall installation process. Aircon cooling is okay. Just installed yesterday so need more time to conclude this experience.

Diakin is no doubt the best ac, this is a spectacular product. I was worried about the installation agent by reading about the reviews, but in my case the installation guys were well behaved and good. The only complain I have is that the total installation charges including some of the materials cost about 3k, so such information must be provided as beside the installation charges the angle, wrapping, water pipe (waste pipe), wires etc are not included in the package for which they are charging separately .

I have used AC of most top companies.. what I like in Daikin are , it’s noiseless indoor unit.. the cooling is so efficient even on very hot summer days .. the new features in 2024 model is very effective.. its dual way swing is so good.. it sprays the cold air on you.. it’s really worth buying it .. trust me u will get good sleep 👍

Average product. I advise to other used or try different brand product.
