Great for use in abstract painting.
Large tub for a great price. Recieved quick, packeged well with a sealed lid. The actual paste is a bright (titanium) white colour, not too thick or thin - a perfect consistency (It's a bit like peanut butter) and matt. I use it on stretched canvases for abstract painting using pallette knives. Very easy to use and spread, dries quite quickly, I would say approximatly half hour to an hour or so and the look at the end is amazing. The paste is great for creating some 3-D effects and giving paintings depth and texture. There is one minor issue that I found. This could be because I use this on canvas: The paste, once dried, cracks quite easily. Solution: I apply a paint sealer and it gives it a fantastic protection film.Overall, amazing product. Would definetly buy again.

Great stuff
Liquitex never fails🫡I use it primarily in paintings to add texture, You can mix it with paint or paint over it…It’s my favourite stuff for making dioramas. It dries and hardens quite fast- as long as You only slap on thin layers of it.Build it up in stages gradually if You need thick coverage. It does a great job for me so far. This stuff is very easy to clean and really easy to work with.Highly Recommend!!!

not bad, mindful of how you use it
i used it to create texture art where i applied a 1.5cm thick layer. when it dried, many cracks appeared. very thin layer works fine.

Expensive but does a great job
Used it to substate some plain duck canvas for this painting and after 4 coats on a 4.5 foot by 2.6 foot canvas with sanding on the last 2 layers it provided a fantastic surface to paint and draw on.And I still have enough left for another canvas the same size.I will definitely be using Liquitex again for my next portraitAlso it's not beige (as the description strangely says), it's pure white as you can see in this photo all the white is the gesso showing there is no actual white paint in this painting at all.

Sparingly
It's thick so use sparingly.Another quality product from Liquitex.

My go to product everytime.
This is a necessity for acrylic portrait painting. Gives consistency to colour mixing, allowing for an even smooth application without the anxiety of the fast drying effect attributed to painting with acrylics with very little or no added water. An excellent medium that does not dull the vibrancy of your colours.

Inconsistent some paintings ended up with a lot of yellowing.
The media could not be loaded. I’m really torn with this product as for some paintings it was clear and very quick drying. Other paintings particularly on wooden surfaces it was yellow and streaky. As you can see in the photo provided it’s really inconsistent which is a shame.

Works beautifully. Use it to thin, extend, add gloss, finish.
Nothing to dislike! I used to blend colors, add gloss. Alsed as top coat on bird figurine I customized with Pearl white, blue shading, hologram fine glitter. So pretty!

Great Medium
No complains from me. It is a "gloss" medium though. I do have to put a matte finish over it as gloss is not my preferred finish.

This is the stuff!
I use it on heavy duck (canvas, not a Mallard) to prep fro all sorts of paints.A few coats with a taping knife and sanding and it's smooth as glass for airbrushing or egg tempera.A few coats without sanding and it's a great surface for oils or acrylics.Pricey, but it goes a long way.

It works great! My first time with gesso and it's improving the smoothness of my acrylic paintings.
