Overall we love the 3 butter control system. We have many curly textures in our family. The products have a nice, mild scent, and are very moisturizing. The only drawback is that you will need to use a clarifying shampoo every few washes as there will be buildup of these “butter” products.

I typically do not review anything - neither positive or negative but this I felt was worth a review. I have tried many many shampoos for my color treated hair and constantly I had problems with tangles and unruly hair with so many other sulfate free products. My hair dresser turned me on to Biolage 3 Butter System and its amazing. I could not be happier. So worth the extra $.

I've been using Biolage for at least 20 years. I usually get the ultra hydration shampoo formula and that one is pretty much clear. I've ordered shampoo before and had gotten conditioner so as I went to go take my shower in the dark I thought a mix-up had happened again. After I stomped out dripping on the floor I realized it was all good. I am pleasantly surprised, it does seem to have a bit more of a conditioning aspect to it and my hair seemed softer and shinier. I have really long thick hair down to my waist so it's important I use good stuff. I was trying to cut down on the frizziness and I think it achieved that. There's a good chance I might switch over to this formula instead of the other. Biolage forever!

I had to return this because it didn't work for my hair. After using it, my curls were still tangled. This had absolutely no slip. I normally finger-comb my hair in the shower because touching it much after destroys the curl, so this product was completely unusable for me. I'm surprised because I normally love Biolage and it sounded fantastic in the description. My hair needs a lot of moisture and sometimes I co-shampoo.

I have fine, shoulder length hair. I like that this shampoo doesn’t have sulphates, and still gets very sudsy. It leaves my hair feeling clean, instead of gunky and gross like other sulphate free shampoos. My hair has been softer and smells great after washing.

Love this shampoo. It does not leave any build-up behind, and leaves my hair feeling soft and smelling great. A little bit goes a long way, so this bottle should last a long time

My hair dresser used and recommended this product for my type of hair. My have long think straight hair and the freeze drive me crazy. Since I started to use this product the freeze is manageable. The smell and how smooth it leave my hair is remarkable. I purchased the shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner and I’m in love with the products. Highly recommend this products.
