Y9 Smart projector

Was skeptical at first since didn't know what to expect, but I'm truly happy with this buy and satisfied. The image quality once dialed in is amazing. The connectivity to Bluetooth devices is hassle free and works everytime. It worth the money I spent and exceeded my expectations. Would've been nice if included the tripod or some type of stand but doesn't but the fact it's portable for inside/outside use and maintains quality even when my whole wall is lit is a plus. Downsides: Volume on the projector itself is not loud enough to hearty clear in my living room especially with a fan running so make sure to have some type of Bluetooth speaks or surround sound already purchased to get the true immersion feeling. Luckily, I ordered a surround setup not too long ago n now my living is like a theatre. Another con to this unit is any type of light truly makes the images/experience kinda unusable so Def either blackout curtains if in a room with windows are needed or use when the sun has completely gone down. But by far the pros out weigh the cons for this unit and also the unit has wifi and built in apps such as Netflix, prime video and many more for me so far seems to work flawlessly with no black spots up to date. So I highly recommend this unit and plan to buy a few more to replace all our tvs in each room with one of these.

Amazing projector for the price. I bought this to project in the basement while we’re shopping for a TV. Honestly, I might just mount this on the ceiling and save myself $2000. I’m projecting directly on to a light gray wall and the picture is incredibly sharp. From 15 feet away, the image is about 160”. Setup took all of 3 minutes. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections were easy. I signed into Netflix and Amazon Prime in seconds. I used a Bluetooth speaker for sound. The built in speaker isn’t great, but I was t expecting it to be. It’ll do in a pinch, but I’d recommend buying a separate speaker with some bass. I’m sure that with an actual projection screen and better speakers, this could be a great home theatre set up.

This projector honestly exceeded my expectations. For $100 (plus a $35 sound bar and $25 screen) it provides a terrific, fun, outside movie night! I was able to use Amazon prime and Netflix right from the projector. Easy WiFi hookup. Picture quality is superb, and the value for money is unbeatable. It’s lightweight and portable, and performs better than I would have imagined. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an easy projector with clear quality.

This is an amazing projector for the price. The picture quality is excellent, with great clarity and brightness. The sound quality is also surprisingly good, making it perfect for movies and shows without needing extra speakers. Overall, it offers great value for money and delivers a very satisfying viewing experience.

I love this projector I was doing my homework on so many of these projectors wanted one for the back yard and really didn’t want to spend too much money this one is amazing it brings all the apps already uploaded so that yu don’t use any xtra devices that was my main concern and there weren’t many to pick from like that the audio isn’t too loud so I got a soundbar from top vision and it’s perfect for it I spent a total of 140 for both and the picture is amazing and it can be seen on my 16ft blow up screen perfectly I’m very excited for our first outdoor movie!

Poor quality It’s shutting off for no reason

I purchased the projector in Nov 2024, after my cousin recommended as a temp replacement for tv. Kids broke 3 TVs in one year :( I was surprised the projector is small in size, and had all the features of a tv. It has Netflix, and ability to download apps, and also to hook up my fire tv. the Projector has all the features of a smart tv. They sent a message with the package to send them the proof of purchase for a free gift (no reviews needed), and they actually sent a free screen as well. What really amazed me was the customer service. I lost the remote recently. I tried to search on Amazon and couldnt find the exact same remote and I didnt want to buy another brand. I messaged the customer service; and I offered to buy the remote from them, since losing it was my mistake. I was worried because usually oversees companies dont answer. They replied within 24hrs, and actually sent me A FREE REMOTE control to replace the one I lost. The customer service was actually very responsive and very helpful as well. Again I am very happy with my purchase, with the quality of the product and with the great customer service.

This is an ok budget projector. The built in apps are a really nice feature. Pros: Apps: comes preloaded with most of the apps people use. Carry Case: The carry case is great to store the projector when not in use. We use our projector outside near the pool so it is nice to store it away when we do not plan to use it for a while. Price: Excellent price point Remote: The remote works really well and you do not have to point it directly at the projector in order to get it to work Controls: All the settings and controls minus the focus can be controlled from the remote which makes it easy to get everything how you want it without potentially moving the projector Bluetooth: Pairs easily to external speakers Where it struggles: Brightness: This is not a very bright projector, it requires it to be very dark even in the brightest mode to get decent picture quality. I am disappointed in this area. Speakers: As poor quality as the onboard speaker is, it would have been less frustrating if they would have just left it off. You can not hear it from any distance. Focus: Focus is not simple at all and it takes a lot in order to get it right Leveling: The leveling bolt is in the center to raise and lower the projector. It would have one on each side so you do not have to find thing to put under it in order to level it out. Overall, it is a ok budget projector, it will not win any awards for being spectacular but if you are not looking to spend a lot, and looking for just the occasional movie night, it will get you by. If you are looking for something you plan to use often, spend a little more and get a better quality projector that is more user friendly and provides better sound and picture quality.
