I always wanted a dashcam in my car, however, I was afraid of the complicated procedures to physically install it and to set it up with my cellphone. Thankfully, a friend bought for me the KINGSLIMP 4.1 PRO dashcam and it was a total game-changer. Nowadays, I drive nowhere without my new handy, helpful and user-friendly new gadget.The packaging is sleek, and it contained everything needed to set -it up. Once I inserted the memory stick I had at home, the instruction steps were easy to follow as 1-2-3. Mounting the dash cam on the windscreen was extremely easy, well explained in the directions, indeed, fool-proof. The package included enough supports for the (sufficiently long) cord to be secured in place.The camera itself is great. It has high definition both front and back lenses, which is extremely handy, in case of need. The camera is black (so it matches all vehicle dashes), modern, light, and slim – it does not hinder driver’s or front passenger’s vision. The interface is user-friendly, almost self-explanatory and it allows for personalization in all selections. The best thing is that it connects easily and immediately to its own wi-fi system (clear instructions provided), the camera automatically turns on when the car is on, indicating a P for parking position, until the vehicle moves. The interface allows for remotely managing the dash cam, sending pictures/video from the SIM Card to my cellphone, switching between cameras, and taking pictures of videos.I found in KINGSLIM 4.1 Pro a reliable and useful road companion.

Seems like this will be a good camera. Install was easy enough, although the setup is for a left-hand drive vehicle (the power cord is placed such that it naturally wants to go toward the driver door) and I would rather run the cord toward the passenger, which I did, but it's awkward. It seemed to work very nicely when I tested it after install. I will update my review after I've had a chance to use it.

I was skeptical at first, how good could this little camera be at that size and price point, but I was completely wrong. This is a great dash cam, and actually the perfect size - stays out of your line or sight when driving which is really important.This camera was super simple to setup, although my 15 year old son did help, it was a fun easy project. After formatting the card, we put it in the camera and got it placed on the windshield, see picture, in a place easy to see yet not in the way.The directions for setup are really simple to follow and also make sense. We got it plugged in, followed the setup procedures. Connected the dash cam with my phone and it was basically that simple. I have the parking monitor turned feature turned on, this is a big plus IMO.It is a nice feature that when you are driving you can have the screen showing a dual screen with the inside image in the upper left or just have the outside driving image showing. Also I like how you can take a picture with the camera by simply pushing a button while you are driving.My setup is within easy arms reach just under the rear view mirror. from that spot it can easily see all 4 occupants of the car but have a full field of vision out the front.Super high quality picture and video image, it's a great buy and I am getting another for my wife's car. It is nice to have that extra protection while driving today.

This is a one star review for one reason only. I was in a car accident when this camera was in my car and it did not record it!! When I went to check the footage, the camera had stopped recording 30 seconds before the accident happened, and resumed recording 30 seconds after the accident had concluded. The whole reason you get a dash cam is to record in case of an accident and for this reason this one did not do its job. I don’t see how this would be related to the accident or electrical failure because it stopped BEFORE the crash and then continued recording after until I unplugged it.
