9 Elements Liquid Laundry Detergent, Citrus Scent, Vinegar Powered, 92 fl oz, 1 count

Ya'll I live in the county and we have well water, which is known to have the hardest water in my state. The water is so hard that it causes our dishwasher and laundry machine to break down faster. Needing a laundry soap that is built to handle hard water is crucial, otherwise your clothes do not get clean and you can feel a residue on them. I bought the dish washing spray when it was on sale at my HEB and it worked great. I bought the dish soap to use outside to wash my chicken feeders-as it's eco friendly and we do have a well. It cleaned scum off those feeders fabulously to my surprise. Was not so eager to try it on my dishes, I thought green meant it does not clean as well. We ended up changing our lifestyle later on and introducing clean products and I found out this was one of the FEW clean laundry soaps out there and when I found out it was designed for hard water-I had to try it out. The price was right, much cheaper than tide and for having clean ingredients-this price is a score. I did not have to use as much cleaner, I noticed after the first load. I put it to the third line and it did not rinse, then I used less (1st line) and not only was there no residue, it was clean and my clothes smelled so clean, the scent was not overpowering. It smelled like how your clothes smell fresh from drying in the sun on a line. My clothes have not felt this clean in awhile. It got out stains and it was gentle on our clothes and bedding. I went and made another purchase three days after purchasing my first, incase the price go's up-it usually does when people find out how good something is. With all the crap in everything now days, it's terrible to walk around in clothes washed in toxic chemicals that cause everything from infertility, hormonal problems to cancer and people are none the wiser. Your body is against these chemicals all day and your skin is just soaking them up and people wonder why they are getting sick. It is wonderful that we now have options instead of using only what was once available at the time. I would highly recommend this product, not only for the cleaning power and how well it tackles hard water, but for the health of you and your family.

I absolutely loved this detergent. I was on the hunt for a non-toxic laundry detergent and I am so happy I fount this one. I got the citrus scent one. The smell is amazing and just the right amount nothing overwhelming. I have a water softener system in my entire house, so with the detergent a little I repeat a little goes a long way. It makes soooo much lather. I am sure the bottle is going to last me longer than what the calculation says because I am using less. I like that it has vinegar in it and you cannot smell it at all. My husband works construction and sweats a lot, when using this detergent his work clothes get cleaned pretty well with this detergent.

Things I love: The scent - it's not fake-citrus smelling and is light and clean. Another plus for me is that my clothes don't carry a heavy laundry scent after drying them. The ingredients - I love using a product that has fewer chemicals and is better for the environment. The quality of cleaning - this detergent performs as well as name brand other detergents for me. Thing that need changing: The cap design - it leaks in transit every time. Also, the design of the pour spout means that about a load's worth of detergent gets trapped in the bottle every time. I have tried standing the bottle upside down, shaking it around, banging on it...It's frustrating that you have to try puncturing the bottle to get the last of the detergent out of it. One thing that you may want to research with your washing machine - if vinegar can be used in the machine. I didn't even think about this, and only recently found out that it may be an issue. It was mentioned recently in a video about my washer; vinegar will deteriorate a belt in the machine. Since I have been using this detergent for awhile now, I figure it's too late to be concerned. However, if I get a new washer, I am going to verify this before continuing to use the detergent.

This is my favorite detergent! So happy to have found this! It gets our clothes clean, smells amazing, and isn't crazy overpriced like most more natural detergents tend to be. I've used the lavender scent, as well, and love it too!

I have purchased so many products that claim to detoxify smells or mildew and do not. I left my goose filled comforter in the washer a while back and could not get the mildew smell out of it. I could mask it with other smells and fabric softeners but I could always smell it eventually. It’s also a very nice comforter and hasn’t been easy to replace. I tried this detergent. I soaked it for maybe an hour. After the wash cycle was complete, I went back to the rinse cycle and rinsed again. The smell is gone. I wanted to write a review the day I used it but wanted to wait to make sure it was real. I used very little and rinse things twice since there is vinegar in it and it’s a little strong. This detergent has revived my white towels, my sheets, and my comforter. I will continue to buy this wonderful product! Thank you!

I have been using 9 Elements vinegar-powered detergent as my primary laundry soap for years now, and I refuse to switch to anything else. It is genuinely the only detergent that makes my clothes feel "deep-cleaned" rather than just surface-washed. What keeps me coming back is the vinegar-powered formula. It does an incredible job of stripping away trapped odors and hard water buildup that other brands leave behind. Despite the vinegar base, there is absolutely no vinegar smell once the clothes are dry—just a light, fresh scent. I also love the simplicity of the ingredients; knowing there are never more than 9 elements and no artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances makes me feel much better about what’s touching my skin. It’s consistent, effective, and has never let me down. If you want a truly clean wash without harsh chemicals, this is it!

I love this brand and it smells great but the shipping is always way longer than it states it will be!

This is such a good detergent. I bought it base of someone’s review stating that their machine doesn’t smell like mildew if clothes are left in too long. And it’s true, it got rid of that smell for me. Since I wash at night and dry in the morning. My husband and daughter both have sensitive skin with eczema and it doesn’t flare up. The formula it’s a bit runny but i prefer that over thick detergents, I also use less than other brands.
