Dyson V7 Total Clean Cordless Vacuum Cleaner - Red

The only reason why it took me so long to buy this Dyson V7 Total Clean is that the price was steep for my budget. However, I am absolutely pleased with it and relieved that I have finally given myself this quality machine and transformed my day-to-day life. I live in a small house with an awkward layout and it is a struggle to clean it with a corded vacuum. All the other cordless stick machines I owned before had issues, mainly of poor suction and a cleaner head that could only pick up fine dirt, but debris like my cats' dry food bits would be pushed around, or I had to lift the cleaner head and place it on top of it - but Dyson's soft roller head sorts this out amazingly. The attachments take care of all other cleaning tasks brilliantly. Emptying the dust container is very easy and it does not make a mess, like what seems to be the case of other models with larger and wider containers, according to reviews I've read. All parts of the machine assemble and disassemble effortlessly and securely with a click, other stick vacuums I had before would either get stuck and require both hands and a lot of pull to disassemble or feel flimsy and lack precision. This vacuum's engineering design is excellent and now I find that cleaning is a breeze.

I've seen adverts where this product clears dirt from both hard floors and carpets but in my experience it does neither. If I hadn't torn up the packaging I'd be returning it as not fit for purpose... Very disappointed.

Brilliant - it makes cleaning a pleasure. It's handy, easy to use and lightweight. It's also easy to clear of debris, a well-considered item.

I can not get my pic to send. We find it handy to lift off the wall and just give a wee rould around the kitchen floor at night. Its handy if the grandchildren spill.But not a great suction . Out Henry would be the one to use if it needs a good vacuum. The Dyson would be a tidy upper. Would not replace if it broke. But not a good succ

Brilliant machine. Light and easy to use with powerful suction.

Like: ease of use. Excellent wall charger system. Easy to clean/empty contents. Quiet in operation. Dislike Battery could last a little longer, although it is adequate for my needs. No continuous on switch, need to hold down the trigger, this can get a little uncomfortable. Expensive product, but suppose this is a premium product.

I bought this for the kitchen so as a vacuum cleaner was easily on hand to deal with any spills, more convenient than having to fetch the main vacuum. The nice thing about the Dyson hand held is the fixing bracket that can be screwed to the wall which keeps the hand held section and a selection of the many tools easily at hand and always charged (if connected to a socket). This model comes with a number of different attachments and includes two separate heads, one with brushes and a padded one for wooden or smooth floors, that is quite a nice feature, as I have wooden floors throughout the ground floor this vacuum is quickly taking over from the main one. This is also handy for stairs, it has the motorised brush head and due to the lightweight you can easily carry it and operate it on the stairs. All in all a good purchase despite the relatively high initial costs.
