Perfect. My partner and I used to have a 2L one but somehow lost it. So we decided to buy a 3L one, and it was really perfect. The 2L was never enough hydration for both of us, the 3L definitely allowed us to hike and drink without fighting.We did buy a second one for our future and more demanding activity, I do recommend having your own platypus when doing intense exercise over a longer period of time. I'll write a second review once I'll be back from more intense adventure. But for hiking a few hours at a normal intensity, one was plenty for the two of us.

not perfect but ok
I already had a Camelbak 3l which was great - this one promised easier filling with the wide opening - its not that wide actually and since I put ice cubes in I'd probably lump of another camel bak next time all things being equal.the lock on the mouthpiece was stiff at first but now its loosened up
