Can this be played on the uk version of wii u ? Is it compatible?

We bought this from Amazon UK and live in Ireland. It's perfectly compatible. If bought on Amazon US, it won't work.

Does this come with the platform ? My sons picked up 2 figures for this game instead of the 1 he has and they dont show up on the platform he has??
